Leaked online a while ago. I thought it was pretty decent. Kind of campy in some spots, but Melissa Benoist is fucking adorable as Kara. I'll probably rewatch tonight and give the series a shot.
this is how I felt, campy but solid also it's CBS so it wasn't gonna be some kind of Netflix dark tone type shit.
gave it a shot, probably won't watch again wife was actually giving me a hard time for recording it, so I wanted to feel vindicated but she kept shooting me looks the entire episode. Campy is the perfect word for it, and even if they were going for superhero movie melodrama some of the acting was just bad.
I just see no reason to continue. It's not terrible but it's got nothing to keep me interested. I'm very happy with myself for taking this and Quantico off my DVR.
Renewed for season 2 and is moving to the CW network. More crossovers with Arrow and Flash https://www.google.com/amp/amp.timeinc.net/ew/article/2016/05/12/supergirl-renewed-cw?client=safari# Want to reiterate the only time I've watched this show was when it crossed over with the Flash
Hey guys will CaneKnight be watching this show? I can't tell by the 4 out of 4 posts stating that fact...
I think moving to CW is a good move for the show. Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist had fantastic chemistry during their crossover episode. I'm interested in how they inevitably bring Supergirl into the same universe as Flash and Arrow, and which characters end up coming with her. It's obviously an easy fix to the inexplicable fact Superman is completely unwilling to do anything but send his cousin IM's on the internet, since he definitely won't be coming along.
I watched the first 5 or 6 then gave up. And I watched the Flash episode. I heard it got a little better. May try it again when season2 starts up
So I did this, and am lost. Anyone have good summary from last season? Who is the black dude that can fly with her?
I actually liked the season premiere and how they are portraying Superman. For example, he was shaking hands and genuinely thanking people instead of being dark and broody.
I still watch this every week I still love Melissa Benoist and Chyler Leigh also the chick that plays Lena Luthor and the chick who plays Reign are super fine as well
