yes she did get lucky. me saying i was happy for her means i am happy for her story. i truly feel for her and she has endured in life and am happy she was able to have this experience
Great season. Man, did they nail the casting. It's been a long time since I was ok with any of the final three winning. Heidi had to make fire and she did it faster than anyone else! (She likely just had the best conditions available in regard to no wind, etc.) Fun stuff.
Shes the first person that had any idea how to properly use the ferro rod. That’s why she nailed it. It drove me nuts in past seasons watching people try to start a fire. Especially when they’ve said they practiced. I’m sure there are survival instructors in their areas to take lessons from. Or at the very least watch a YouTube video. /rant
To me Heidi did very little outside of beating Carson in fire. I also think making fire is overrated. I was getting annoyed during the last tribal when Heidi kept trying to discredit Yam Yam and Carolyn by insisting Carson was the brains behind their moves.
I dont blame Heidi trying to give Carson all the credit. It was basically her only card to play. I do think it’s funny that Carson kept mentioning she broke the record. I guess i would too if I needed to feel better about losing on fire making lol
I think more interpersonal dynamics at camp would be cool. But we’re not getting that. We’ll be getting another reward challenge that comes w an dumb twist.
Idk if some people like this but I truly didn’t hate anyone this season either, which was good. Although I thought Josh was a giant dumbass for being a surgeon and a terrible liar
Feel bad for Kaleb dealing with that tribe. Brandon putting himself at risk of injury in these challenges
May not have been great Survivor play but was top notch entertainment and I’m still here for it. This tribe is going to self immolate and the other tribes seem to have some interesting people as well.
Dont have anything to say that hasnt already been said. Lulu has to be the worst tribe ever constructed. Will be an all time upset if they ever avoid immunity. Emily is awful, but good TV. Thank goodness Brandon is so bad she might stick around a little longer. Also - imagine being the last woman cut before the show and watching Hannah quit. Id be so pissed.
I have cable but didn’t watch this live and can’t figure out where to watch a replay someone help my family is bored
If you PM me your email I'll send it to you. It'll take some time to upload, less than an hour. edit: looks like I can give you a link
I have to imagine later in her life realizing you quit survivor so you could hit a vape is going to be one of the most regrettable decisions she ever makes.
I disagree completely, the early game the last few seasons has been pretty dull actually because of “good play”
I agree the beginning of seasons where everyone is playing well are more boring than amazing disasters like this one. But once the merge hits, those seasons are really good imo
Yeah totally agree about post merge past few seasons, I still think there are plenty of “good” players on this season that we can still have that.
Finally watched Ep1, I really can’t stand Emily I like Brandon but seems like he probably shouldn’t have been casted, he’s dangerously unathletic
Yea. There is a baseline of athleticism needed to be on that show. massive anxiety and the athletic ability of a 6 year old does not make for someone capable of playing survivor. She didn’t deserve to have her torch snuffed. Should have been told to walk out the way she came like the last two girls who quit once their alliance was in the minority.
I will give them credit the cast this season is hilariously bad to the point it is actually entertaining. I really wish they would go back to 2 tribes tho
