I thought so too, but he wasnt the only one concerned about her getting jury votes. I cant comprehend it, but it seems like she was doing something right w the social game
I think that Kenzie’s route from arguably the worst tribe of all time through the merge hasn’t gotten enough credit ITT. I would’ve voted Charlie, but he did have a much easier path drafting Maria to the end.
I don’t know about that though. Last several season whoever the weakest tribe is becomes swing votes and end up fine at the merge. It’s almost like you’d want to be the worst going in because teams are fighting for your vote.
But those people are usually either a shield or a complete non factor. Kenzie played it well the whole way through. Her only real fuck up was whiffing on the Tiff vote. But Tiff didnt care so no harm, no foul.
I think the tiff vote alone was enough to put Charlie over Kenzie for me but I guess to everyone else that was all Maria’s doing. As for Liz, Kenzie said she got a strange edit for what that’s worth.
I think ive come to the conclusion there is no such thing as an underserving winner. Every cast decides on what is important or of merit. The fact that they won is the proof they succeeded meeting the criteria. Kenzie's social game was obviously phenomenal, even if she didnt really seem like a rock star at the game. Also there is so much that we dont see, that goes into the votes.
For sure. Unless you have a flashy blind side or clever idol play it is very hard to distinguish anybody’s strategy
All that said - I would have died to see Liz try to explain to a jury that she really wasnt a millionaire and they should trust her and give her vote lol. And have Q follow up w questions for her.
Just finished Aussie Season 1. Really enjoyed it & can’t wait to get to seasons that are supposed to be good.
I have used “sword of Damocles” in multiple conversations since their season. He is clearly a sharp dude. Happy he won and appropriate for his to dethrone a 15 time champion.
Noticed this at the end, so I had to google. Kijiana "Aunt Kitty" Taito Was a Vital Member of the 'Survivor' Crew A card at the end of Episode 1 of 'Survivor' read: "In loving memory of Kijiana 'Aunt Kitty' Taito." https://www.distractify.com/p/who-is-kijiana-aunt-kitty-taito-survivor
I was blown away that they allowed the dude who woke everyone up in the middle of the night and had a mental breakdown post-challenge to stay for another week.
I assume they only kept him for his strength in challenges. But I’m not sure that’s a big thing when you lie in the sand midway through a challenge.
I had to look it up. I think it's "Rob Has a Podcast", a survivor discussion podcast with former contestant Rob.
-TK’s coach speak was annoying as hell and it made him an easy target post challenge. -Gabe quoting Joker from TDK was an eye roll moment. He didn't need to play his idol and I don't know why some of these folks feel the need to burn that so quickly. -Rome being the loud annoying nerdy guy is also par for the course. -Sam basically gave his game away by saying that he wanted to keep Andy around and not have a tribe of 1 guy/ 3 girls
Some of the worst game play ever last night. Question on beware advantage. If Andy took it but didn’t open would it be fine or does it have to stay?
My wife asked the same thing. I think if you take it and hide it elsewhere even if you don't open it, you are still taking ownership of it. It just makes sense that it has to stay there, etc.
Rome has got to be one of the most obnoxious players ever. Really hope he goes soon because it's not even an entertaining obnoxious.
No idea why Teeny and Kishan didn’t just side with Sol and Aysha, two votes on Rome, 2 votes on Genevieve. And then just vote out Genevieve on the revote.
