Loved that half. Starting to really like Mawson, probably my next kit name. Great guy and turned into a solid player for us. Too early to say Ash 2.0 but its not out of the realm.
His defense has gotten better. He was pretty bad earlier in the season. The passing has gotten so much better under Clement.
The whole squad has improved dramatically but that's what tends to happen when you bring in a manager that has worked with the pedigree he has and the staff he brought in. This has gone from a typical new managers bump to a lovely display of Swansea style of play. Now I need us to stay up to see where Clement can take us next year.
Got a bit complacent in the second half. Llorente had a really good game today despite not getting a goal. He put in great effort, won a bunch of balls, good passes, good hold up play. More of that throughout the season would go a long ways to pushing us back to the mid table.
Adult away jerseys are on sale. I shockingly haven't bought the new one so I did grab one today. Can't wait to rock my #6 Alfie Mawson shirt while dancing my way around town. Was a tight decision, almost had to go with the Tom Carroll 42.
Tough half but felt a lot like the plan Clement has used before with the bigger sides. Getting that goal at half was fantastic.
Taffy Guess the Ospreys are a rugby side playing in a football city these days. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/ospreys-move-european-challenge-cup-12667899
Some lovely play to start this half. Mawson denied by the post twice and then a few minutes later Fer has an unbelievable most beautiful cross for Llorente header.
Tiny Tom with delicious service and how great is it to have a center forward that knows what to do with it?
Tom Carroll has a home in Swansea and the impact he and Olsson have made in such a short time is unbelievable.
Swansea has confirmed that Clement has been making preseason plans already. They will be coming back to the US with a focus again on the east coast.
Shitty day for sure. Pretty crappy performance all around. Routledge missing those two absolute clear chances fucked us. Losing Llorente for the day was basically insurmountable so let's hope that's not serious. Having to make 2 first half subs really changed the game plan. Fernandez was shockingly bad.
Conor Roberts was withheld from the U-23 tonight so I'm thinking it's a pretty good bet he's on the bench this weekend.
Not getting that handball is annoying. You can't go flying around like that, block a shot with your arm, and get rewarded. That's a penalty. Fernandez making another ill advised attempt that costs us. Ayew isn't doing anything over there.
