Holy hell my nerves are shot with every match. Zaha equilizes and I figure here we go again maybe we get lucky and draw. Nope a cheeky ball by Fer to Rangel....Rangel Unbelievable.
The FA Cup won't be a distraction as we fight to stay up. Sounds like Ki was involved and had a few chances, but couldn't quite finish. Also sounds like we still really need to find some new defenders. And maybe a keeper.
"A dream has come true playing in the Premier League, playing for a big club like Swansea, it was not difficult to think about it," Narsingh explained lolwat
Included in the deal is his creepy Asian superfan, She carries around a hand knitted doll of Tom and takes pictures with it at different locations throughout the world. http://www.espnfc.us/blog/the-toe-poke/65/post/2795228/instagram-posts-by-tom-carroll-biggest-fan https://www.instagram.com/harperjun/?hl=en
I see he has made a decent amount of appearances for Spurs this year. How has he played in your opinion?
The article I linked was from last year, he made way more appearances last season than this term. Our midfield is just jam packed with capable players right now so it has been hard for Tom to come by games. Last season he did fairly well for us, IMO. He wasn't outstanding but is composed on the ball and can get forward when the situation calls for it. He won't make many costly turnovers in the middle of the park, and has an eye for a good through ball now and then.
Mcburnie going down the edge of the box and crossing with three guys in the box running with and hitting none is basically the perfect representation of this season. In gonna withhold judgement of Clements because we looked great for the large majority of the 1h. The scary thing is we don't have a true winnable game IMO until March 4th against Burnley. Maybe just maybe Jan 31 against So'Ton.
Hull winning today puts us back in 20th. Woof. I wanna be optimistic but fuck this is a hell of an uphill battle. Narsingh/Carroll/Olsonn don't seem like enough addition to do much.
So this transfer window has been one of those windows where if we were sitting anywhere not in the relegation zone, we would be pretty damn excited and happy to see Carroll/Narsingh/Olsson added.
What a fantastic result. Also the difference Olsson and Carroll brought was much bigger than could be expected. Llorente has been huge this year in finding the back of the net. Im still a bit shocked at how productive he's been. Good game plan and execution. Paul Clement so far seems to have made great strides with our squad. Confidence will be high next week.
Yeah. Carroll being a younger Bitts is really nice. Really happy to have someone like Llorente finally that is just a professional striker that can finish. It'd be nice if he was younger and faster, but then we couldn't afford him. Thank you and you're welcome.
Neil Taylor is gone...Well basically gone. Jordan Ayew is in. I like this a lot to be honest. Taylor became Clements third LB and not needed. Adding to our attacking with a player that can play in a couple roles should be seen as a positive. Hate Ghana has advanced in the AFCON though.
Interesting but in guessing Mcburnie and Kingsley will qualify as an Under 21 giving us a bit more flexibility. At least if I understand the rule properly.
Mcburnie was developed at Bradford and Swansea for over 3 years between 16-21 wouldn't that count? Kingsley definitely doesn't count only had 2 years in the Swansea system.
If that's right about McBurnie, then he should count but if he is also counted as an under 21 it doesn't matter. It would matter next season though.
Nice set piece goal. While I am not sold on Mawson as a defender, he is a legitimate threat on offensive corner kicks. Would have been nice to get that hand ball penlty called, though
Accidentally posted in EPL thread but meant to post here. Great play by Luciano and I am not sure how Gylfi was able to knock that in.
Defense got a bit sloppy there but a huge win. Now hopefully Mike Dean can help us get 3 more points Sunday
@City Leicester chelsea Think we need 3-4 points from this run to keep on pace with survival. Thankfully after Feb our March is fantastic Burnley @Hull @Bournemouth Boro(April1st)
Agree but I can't blame a guy who hasn't gotten a run out. He needs time on the pitch. I don't think La Liga is that far off of the PL. Sure more physical but he has talent but probably lacks more confidence than anyone in the squad.
Seemed like a bad time to try and bring him on. He has ability, but fighting to preserve a hard earned in point doesn't seem like the best time to knock the dust off.
Hull, Palace, and Sunderland losing today. Huge opportunity tomorrow but we stay out of the relegation zone regardless for one more week.
