yeah he rebounded nicely from Wilde
I remember Keeley Hazell from years ago on here. I think we had a whole thread dedicated to her, Rosie Jones and all those British magazine models.
First, screw Herrera, hate that guy. Second, didn’t Dani play at Chivas?
I’m so mfing ready
We getting the entire season or weekly eps?
Weekly. As God intended
Come on man. He specifically mentions Tigres in the trick play montage.
I was for sure he said he played in Guadalajara in the first episode he’s in.
"Just like in Guadalajara, coach" in his opening scene, iirc.
Haven’t watched but apparently it deported at midnight eastern. Just FYI for future weeks
did they drop the whole season or just an episode?
the whole season is up
spoiler: in the finale Man City are relegated for gross violation of FFP, it’s stunning
Oh I missed that. So fucking good. Loving Roy's arc.
Apple does weekly.
Loved S2 episode 1. Probably one of the best yet. Good chance this season is even better than 1
Laughed hard at
Danny waking up screaming football is dead in between two girls
Some of what I like call Lassoisms in this episode were the best yet. The Paul Bunyan one was great. Can’t remember some others, but will rewatch because I liked them
How are we handling spoilers?
Once it’s aired, you’re good to talk about whatever. Previews or whatever for future episodes can be put in spoilers.
I can’t believe they killed a dog before the opening credits
The Jan Maas character is a nice new addition. I love the he is not rude he is just Dutch angle. Brutally honest.
Weird I was checking IMDB to learn more about the actor who plays Dani Rojas and he isn’t even credited in this episode for some reason.
Very annoyed that they are releasing it like this... Think I'm going to wait for binge purposes.
Why? This is far superior to a big drop. This way we can discuss it weekly, laugh about the funny parts of specific episodes and enjoy the show for a longer period.
This isn’t directed at you and I’m not trying to be an ass or a broken record, but I really don’t get people who would rather have the whole show released at once rather than being able to enjoy the communal aspect of a weekly release. Especially a show like this where there is zero concern about it not continuing, so there’s not that aspect where you’re afraid of getting invested in a canceled show. Netflix really ruined tv and I’m glad Disney and apple are trying to right that wrong.
I prefer full season binge watches, but is what it is.
I was sad this morning and really wanted to watch another episode immediately after 1
Because the urge to watch the next episode (for me) is always strongest right after the one I'm watching ends. Interest wanes a bit throughout the week, and I also kind of forget or grow numb to some of the nuances taking place -- these things can deteriorate my experience bit.
Each his own and what not.
Did we actually get a Roy retirement speech last year? I don’t recall that. If not, I am guessing that will be a pretty funny episode.
No we did not
4 episodes into this and man this show makes me feel good
Ted Lasso is who all we should strive to be. World would be a better place
I like binging through series as opposed to weekly stuff because of episodes like today's which was basically just a set up for all the character arcs to come. I'll like this episode more in a month than I do today.
I need a lot more Roy, though.
They really gonna make it dusty and end the episode with ‘Live is Life’?
Coach Beard busted out the KC Sines Original hat again and I had to google it because I didn’t know what that was. Sudekis’ best friend growing up here was named Chris Sines and it’s a shout out to him I guess.
Roy was the MVP of that episode.
I’m guessing that Roy started crying during his retirement presser
I've noticed in the past that IMDB can be pretty slow to update stuff after it's been released. I've watched episodes of stuff over a week after it's been released and they don't even have an episode title or most of the cast listed. And I'm not talking about some show that's little watched, like broadcast network shows that have been on the air for years
I’ve always assumed that this was intentional for spoiler purposes
Finished season 1. Everyone should watch this show. It feels healthy or something idk. Makes me want to consume more media like it
I just met Dani Rojas
This show is chicken noodle soup for the soul
Not quite as positive as the current rendition of the character but still funny, here are some Ted Lasso clips from years ago
Too late at night, Rojas, Beard and who?
Watched it at 1201. I personally prefer the binge, like to see the story flow all at once.
Is this worth getting Apple TV for?
yes, assuming you mean Apple TV+ and not the Apple TV device
Yes. This and for all mankind are wired the 5/month
Yeah mythic quest, morning show etc totally worth the money. Honestly though I’d pay the 60+ a year just to watch Ted lasso whenever.
