Not another hopeless season. The titans have sucked most of my life except when Jeff Fisher had one of his rare good season's but last year was tough to watch. Our front is awful, Bryon fucking Bell.
How good of a player has Chance Warmack's been so far? From someone who pays little attention to NFL, it seems like he's been about average. Not quite what I expected out of him.
our oline is just straight garbage makes no fucking sense considering the money and draft picks we have put into it
Whisenhunt is such a shitty coach. Way too much first and second down running (for a team that struggles to run the ball) with a rookie QB. Goes for obvious draw play/screen play stuff on 2nd and long.
I got spoiled being in 7th grade the year we officially became the Titans. From 7th grade through about 10th grade I expected us to always be good no playoff appearances since 2008, no playoff wins since 2003. With the ownership group intent on making huge profits from their Houston headquarters and a lack of good organizational leadership here in town the whole fan experience is really pretty pathetic
post-2009 (CJ2K year and Mawae's last) we have been so terrible. Mawae might have been washed up for all I know but god as soon as he left we became really really inefficient on the ground. And as you mentioned the free agency spending and high draft picks haven't done shit. Fuck Warmack I found this from an old ESPN preview from before the 2010 season: 2. The offensive line could be better than last season: And that's saying something, considering it blocked for a 2,000-yard rusher and allowed just 15 sacks in 2009. With Kevin Mawae gone, the Titans shifted Eugene Amano to center and inserted Leroy Harris at left guard. The resulting line is more powerful. It's a talented group coached by Hall of Famer Mike Munchak, but it needs to stay healthy as the inexperienced depth is a serious question.
yea we got pretty fucking spoiled the first few years had McNair, Eddie, Wychek, Mason, Kearse, etc all in their primes and since then its been a total clusterfuck
Even the Billy Volek and Drew Bennett era was fun. Shame Fisher had to blackball him. Vince was exciting to watch and so was CJ2k but Bishop Sankey nope.
We actually looked good and no talk? Thoughts on the new OL? D actually looking like they want to stop someone. Sankey didn't look awful.
Sankey ran like he's been reading about Cobb. It was nice to see that plus the O-line open up some holes. McCluster needs to die. Mett looked good to me, I still think he can play above backup level.
I'm sure it is a close game. The Titans looked good but I heavily attribute a lot to the Bucs being turrible
Would love to see Mariota continuing to be a beast. It's been so long since I've watched relevant NFL football concerning the Titans.
I the Titans OL. After living in Nashville for 5 years and going to a lot of games, I still keep up with the Titans. I really like the franchise now that fuckface died and hope Mariota balls.
Man everything in this thread is fucking depressing up until our 3rd preseason game. Super negative and the cool "say the draft/player X-Y-Z is shitty" point of view. Some pretty solid predictions from myself, I must say
I was encouraged by Sankeys play Sunday but I'm sure he'll go right back to sucking. Going to get a lot of sacks out of Morgan/Orakpo/Casey
you'll like this. As Mariota got a reprieve from the pick he threw, Jameis fumbled the ball away literally simultaneously
8 straight home losses. How is that possible? Challenge flag thrown on a play that wasn't reviewable which cost a timeout and earned a sideline warning This organization is not worthy of your support
