legal weed unironically one of the most popular policies in the country boomers fucking love their gummies
My total wine has 250 in stock skus for THC drinks. They would be crazy to oppose it...I haven't had a drink of alcohol in months and I don't really intend to again, regardless of what happens in this session. There are plenty of people in the same boat.
It is important as outsiders to know all of these hairbrained ideas come from churches that don’t believe in the things you think are fundamental to America and produce adults like ted cruz. That will help on your journey toward enlightenment of understanding the Texas miracle.
thc drinks only thing keeping many breweries alive as the decline in alcohol use is hitting them hard
I have crazed religious nutjob relatives outside of fort worth so I like to follow along their daughter and her husband are big ole libs living there too so that dynamic is always interesting
It’s a pretty weird dynamic when we have complete one party rule and like the third most dem voters of any state based on population alone and being a young state overall. Opposite of California except it’s flipped here and the gop has gone full on power grab while Newscum is horseshoeing because his son likes Charlie Kirk.
any state that is trending blue from red loses it absolute mind. the GOP in California being the earliest example I remember, then Virginia's GOP, Wisconsin's, etc. so yeah y'all in for a bumpy ride until the gerrymander gets cracked which with the actions of the current gov and trump not being on any ballots again could be sooner than later
I work at a contract brewer, in the past month we’ve canned energy drinks and THC drinks at like a 2-1 basis vs. beer.
They’re debating the bill right now the dude just offered his floor amendment with a total ban he’s so full of shit
Can't post it but that total ban amendment with handwritten signatures was reposted with a lot more. It's over.
Honestly the move will probably be to get a tcup card that anyone can get, buy a couple of bottles of the preferred vehicle (gummy, tincture, etc ), and just refill those with the better stuff from Oklahoma or a legal state when traveling. Pita and all but the genie isn't going back in the bottle.
A couple cities already came out and said they’re rescinding their decriminalization laws in lieu of this.
some brands will shut down direct shipping but there’s too many people out there. Not saying it’s not a pain but, you’ll be ok. If you’re totally fucked I have more or less unlimited access to bevs, maybe gummies soon from a handful of brands.
Even if they don't expand it, it's not. Anyone can come up with a ptsd story and online doctors rubber stamp it. It's expensive and needs to be refreshed though. They're making this out to be a trade for farm bill to tcup (targeting veterans) without telling people that it's going to price out a whole lot of people.
I didn’t get a good nights sleep for like 5 years after starting my law firm. Started taking gummies during covid and slept better than I ever have so fucking frustrating that they’re about to ban this shit
Used to party pretty hard at Pats on 35th. We moved to AZ and missed the riots / Covid and came back looking to tie one on back there and hours were limited and it’s dead save food service. Totally different vibe. Cc: bring you asss MSP thread
yeah that part of town hasn't rebounded the way north loop/ne has. loop just so much more convenient so all the raucous folks come here and downtown.
Always fun to constantly be reminded that politicians truly do not give a single fuck about their constituents this country fucking sucks
Yall are gonna have to figure out a way to get weed to a public vote. we probably somehow got lucky with the timing in Oklahoma plus it being a very loose medical designation. We tried to vote for recreational but it didn’t pass. People are still trying to get the medical taken away or make it actually medical. My renewal is coming up next month and I’ll spend 20 seconds on the phone with a doctor to get my approval. Total joke.
Almost nothing gets put on the ballot here. They can’t let anything get to a popular vote because they know they’ll lose. people like republicans but don’t like republican priorities but they keep voting for them. If the actual issues were on the ballot they’d overwhelmingly win here,
got plenty of las cruces food/activities recommendations for anyone who ends up making a run to the border (not you El_Pato i know you already know)
I seriously doubt it will be enforced in Harris county. I’m placing a big order this month regardless though. I get everything shipped and hopefully that company just ignores the ban.
