Anyone else feel like we're pushing too early? The window wasn't supposed to open until next year imo
I know I'm a broken record on this, but Duran, Taveras, and Jankowski should all be everyday players. If we need to rest a position player for a day (I know standing around in the field and the occasional 90-ft wind sprint can really take it out of you), then fine, move someone out of the starting lineup for a night or use the DH spot as a rest-day position. However, right now, with Heim and Jung and, off-and-on, Seager out, we can't afford to be just casually tossing one or two of Josh Smith, Sam Huff, Robbie Grossman, or Brad Miller into the starting lineup each night. Houston is playing too well for us to keep acting like it's Week 17 of the NFL season with home-field advantage locked.
I wonder where the break is. I was swing my 4-year old's bat last night and didn't feel like my left thumb was really a point of pressure or torque in a right-handed swing. We could at least let him do some DH work.
Going to my first game at GLF tonight, free seats in the Balcones Speakeasy section. Glad I’m going right in the middle of them shitting the bed
I married a Rangers die hard. Pudge is her favorite athlete of all time any sport. It’s been a good weekend in our house :)
