So many things to do.
I 100% GTA : Vice City and watched the first 5 seasons of Dexter so I'm basically an expert.
Don’t let someone eat your face.
south beach area best for hotels/airbnb?
won't be able to make it, Dahl kid #2 due any day so will have a newborn & 22 month old at home.
Here is your fun fact/stat of the day:
OU's defense has allowed 47 trips into the redzone, and given up 44 touchdowns on those trips for a 93.6% touchdown percentage, which is 126/129 in D1 rankings.
For anyone making score predictions on the game, DO NOT GIVE BAMA FIELD GOALS
Bama 49 - 34.
We haven’t missed an XP in two games so we are probably due to miss at least two.
yeah it’s bad
ou has also faced more top 15 offenses than the other 3 cfp teams combined
as to how much facing ou’s d factors into being a top 15 offense, i’ll leave that up for you to decide
idk if I could do that on Madden on rookie level.
the good news is the run d seems to have improved a lot since moving to 4 man front and inserting barnes into the starting lineup (why we weren’t playing him to begin with is only one of about 50 mysteries)
the bad news is our cbs are still god awful outside of brown. bookie didn’t play at all against texas which helped a ton too, he is awful
Yeah, no way they play that bad against us
Our D somehow is much better with Tre Norwood at S.
I'm ready to rock. Flights and hotels booked.
Interested to see how our defense performs against OU in a game that actually means something
If we held them to like 30, we should give Tosh a huge raise.
Feel like they’ll go after Saivion hard.
When do y'all think is the best time to buy tickets?
Should I spend the $500+ to get a good seat now? Or do we think prices will drop and a better deal can be made closer to gameday?
Our Sooner friends aren’t doing their part to be champions.
To answer your question, I’d wait as long as possible to buy tickets, and go ahead and take care of everything else. I honestly wouldn’t even feel too bad about going to Miami without tickets in hand.
yeah well we've won more conference titles than you in the last 2 seasons
The last 4, iirc
Congrats on the sex
Pops won't like this approach. I always do this but he likes to have everything in order so we'll see. I'm looking at club seats on the 35 for $550/ticket. Prices seem to be falling a moderate pace so I may be able to hold off for a bit.
I've already booked lodging and flights. Outside of game tickets and dinner reservations, I am all set
True. I didn't want to use all those consecutive title in a row, as an argument, just yet
I always take off the week between Xmas and New Years and wife and I do something fun. She wants to go to the Keys for a few days and then the game so I guess we'll do that. Not sure how I feel about taking a 14 month old to an 8pm game but guess we'll see how that goes.
I would guess that the ticket demand from Alabama fans wont be very high. Yet another expensive trip and some people will hold out and wait for the national championship game
Think of it this way. In 17 years when they're coming of age, you can tell them how you took them to the game that was end of one dynasty and the beginning of the next.
The babe will be forever grateful for such memories.
Saban retiring and Dabo taking over?
Would Dabo move laterally like that?
If you can't beat 'em, join em.
2016 doesn't count.
When Mama calls, you listen.
That’s a ways off though.
Your face sucks. Boo Ya! You do know there only like 10 OU fans on this board and a million Bama fans.
We have about 25-30 somewhat active posters, I’d guess
Between 30-40 active posters definitely
Do you think y'all will play ball control or try to slug it out with us? I think it's funny when a team tries to play ball control against OU and their 3 yard hitch rout goes for a touchdown. Then they're like "well fuck... ".
Ideally, I think we’d like to run the football to shorten the game and limit possessions for Murray.
That's the practical approach. It's what Texas did actually and it worked for almost a half because we couldn't get in the end zone for some reason. Hit us up the middle then go long. Rinse and repeat.
I'm really interested to see if y'all play man press or zone on us because of the WR/TE matchups against y'alls DB's and LB's.
Hollywood injury is concerning
We usually play man fwiw
They're playing that close to the vest. I haven't even heard a diagnosis yet of what the injury is. It looked bad when the cart came out to pick him up but then they let him back out on crutches and he was just making a token attempt to even use them.
He was acting like he wanted to throw them down and that they were annoying him.
Cee Dee is more than capable of going over the top but he he's running a 4.4 not a low 4.3.
Rambo may get his chance to shine finally.
I hope Brown isn’t out but we have playmakers. I’m not in the loop though so I don’t know what’s gonna happen.
Funniest thing about this thread is neither fanbase is stupid or new to this so no one is saying too much.
SEC SEC SEC
my team is horrible and conference pride is all I have left
No team came closer to beating Bama in the regular season than A&M this year.
If Lincoln had any sense he would call Jimbo for advice. He probably won't, but pride cometh before the fall.
That's one line of thinking
I’m just glad that Futureman talked me into buying s sweet Walmart OU shirt that will be perfect for this occasion.
Just two Ole Miss grads with an Alabama and Oklahoma degree hangin on their walls rooting for the over
Here this is from the pay boards.
Rumor is sprained foot, not broken. 2-4 weeks. He was seen today without a cast so it's safe to assume its not broken.
It looks like he's playing but at what % he'll be at is the only question.
OU has a real shot at winning if they can make it a shootout. Something like 45-42. But that’s not possible without Marquise Brown. Hope he’s healthy because dude is electric. Reminds me of John Ross from Washington a few years back.
Just run the triple option like Army did. OU had 7 possessions in regulation which is hilarious.
