Albert is my favorite in Atlanta. One Eared Stag is amazing as well, and I still need to try the burger at Marcel.

I had a good burger at Au Cheval but at no point did I think it was top echelon. The one I had a week or so before at Grange Hall was better

    Au Cheval:
The burger starts with prime beef from W.W. Johnson Farms (by way of Sysco) that gets formed into four-ounce patties and slapped onto the 450 to 500 degree griddle until medium (they will do well done, but c'mon...). A layer of Kraft American cheese goes in between and on top of each patty and then before resting for a minute or two.

It's actually the best burger I've ever had. I've been saying that on TMB since like 2012.

Haven’t had it. Still love the McDowell from Local Three. After reading Atlanta Mag’s list, I would definitely swing by Bone’s for a lunch burger :nomnom:

Alton Brown's favorite restaurants from a cross-country trip
    Block 16
    Omaha
Brown calls the Croque Garcon his favorite hamburger in the country. It's made with a 1/3-pound burger, cheese, ham, a sunny-side-up egg, mustard and truffle mayo on a ciabatta roll. He says it has the perfect meat-to-bun ratio. "They've turned the hamburger into high art," he says.

Is this your personal opinion or a list that was published somewhere today?

4-5 years ago when Au Cheval was named the best burger in America by some magazine the wait times absolutely blew up.

I took my dad for an early lunch hoping we could sneak in and was quoted at a 7.5 hour wait. Bitch that's dinner.
