This school festival/Gentle Criminal arc fucking blows. Get this shit over with ASAP.

 

Solo leveling fucking ruled

Haven’t watched much anime in a long time but might dive into jujutsu kaisen

 

Deku: "If not for a chance encounter with All Might, i mightve ended up just like this guy" where 'this guy' is a flamboyant old man who is in love with a middle school dropout youtube stalker

Yeah the arc blows ass and is also extremely funny for a lot of unintentional reasons

 

Oh, I forgot about that. It is lame. At least it's pretty short.

 

Coming off the heels of the Overhaul Arc doesn't help either, but yeah I'm just trying power through.

 

It does get called back in a really cool way but it’s definitely dumb filler

 

Bingewatching it all at once has to be huge whiplash

Overhaul is also a great villain

 

Finished Demon Slayer and man it rules.

Doing Jujutsu Kaisen next.

 

Getting back into Black Clover. Think we ended around episode 40. Better figure out what that freak Asta ends up doing.

 

I need to get back into it. I’m around episode 85.

The elves thing was taking so long. That I needed a break to watch something else.

 

Is there any bigger try hard than Asta? He makes Bakugo look like a chill guy. The fight versus Vetto was bad ass though. Like the new intro as well:

 

Damn. Devil May Cry is gory as hell.

 

Ha! All the 90s/00s nostalgia with the games and music is pretty fun. Kicking asses with Rage blasting is pretty peak.

 

Amazing. Kid was like “they should have used papa roach for the intro”…..one episode later

 

Finished DMC, pretty fun stuff. Has anyone watched Moonrise on Netflix? I see it’s done by WIT so it should at least look cool.

Finally watched Frieren. Not my favorite but appreciate it. Liked the dual storylines playing out at the same time.

 

That’s been one of my recent favorites.

 

It’s entertaining. Took me a few tries to get into, was hooked after the first demon fights. Feel like my final feelings on the series will lie with how they work out the Frieren-Himmel relationship once they reach “heaven”.

 

Kid fired up Mashle. Just from the opening it looks like a Black Clover rip off. Everyone’s magic except one dude and he’s super buff.

 

two Netflix just added 103 Mercies. It’s like the fan letter that it’s just a one off episode but it’s good. Won’t spoil it but pay attention to the sword the good guy uses.

 

So they call it Mashle because it’s a mash up of Black Clover and Harry Potter. Show makes me want a cream puff though.

 

Luffy v Kizaru. Holy. Fucking. Shit.

There is a less comedic version of the same type of show called Wistoria Wand and Sword

There's pay off for this..... Just saying. One thing about MHA is there's always pay off down the road. Nothing is truly meaningless in that show.

 

Also great pay off at the end of this arc.

 

Is this any good? I snatched the 1st season.

 

Feels like a weak season all together

 

CR not simulcasting One Piece in English like they said they would has made this house unlivable.

 

I'm watching it now and absolutely love. Nice change of pace from the usual shit I watch.

 

Along these lines has anyone watched The Apothecary Diaries? I always see it rated super high. Freiren had just enough action to keep me hooked.

 

The action in Freiren is incredibly well done as well too even if it’s sometimes a bit short in terms of time. It also makes sense and everyone has a role

 

Anyone know anything about Lord of Mysteries coming out in July? Saw an article saying it’ll top Solo Leveling.

 

Finished Freiren and I loved it. Started up Demon Slayer

 

Some of the animation is going to blow you away. So damn good.
