One of the GOAT intros, also just happen to coincide when then anime goes from being a joking adventure Gundam to being a dead serious UC Gundam story.

 

I'm halfway through S1 of Attack on Titan. What a strange show but it's very entertaining.

Some kid at school told mine to watch Shanghai-La Frontier. Getting it started now. Any good? And yes, I get all anime recommendations from this thread and 5th graders.

 

So knuckleduster is a destitute, kinda dumb batman and the crawler is a nerfed spiderman that can only really slide around.

After all the power scaling garbage in mha , im interested in this tightrope mha:v walks

 

It really takes off somewhere around episode 18

About 20 episodes in. The fights and animation are good. These “VR” anime’s don’t do it for me at all though. There’s no stakes. Bad guy wins, good guy respawns.

 

The Apothecary Diaries is very good

 

I’m glad this thread got bumped.

This new guy in his early 20’s started at my job a few weeks ago. Real quiet and nerdy type. Doesn’t seem to have many friends. Super nice kid though. We got to talking about anime and how I’ve never watched any of them and he should tell me some shows I need to watch.

He gave me “My hero Academia” to start with. Seeing him light up talking about it was so cool, so I’ll give it a shot. Found season 1 on Netflix

 

Its a really good couple early seasons. You'll end up binging it. Dub is good

 

First season is a bit of a chore imo. But it picks up over time. DirtBall

 

Call him Young Midoriya on Monday and watch him light up. MHA is great. Just stick with it.

my proud anime dad moment was catching my 13 yo who had previously only been into action/fighting anime branching out and binging it a couple weeks ago. Anyone who enjoys anime needs some Maomao in their life.

 

Kowloon generic romance is compelling and interesting in a way i cant put my finger on
