We have obviously answered the call and the results are starting to show. I think Petrino knows what we are capable of financially we just have to prove that we are able to provide results in order to justify that kind of spending. I mean hell the worlds largest corporation is 20 miles up the road for gods sake and they higher a ton of Ark. graduates into that company who will inturn spend their money on the program for football/basketball/baseball tickets.

I know several donors who are either one sport or the other (sad but thats just the way they are). Granted Football is doing well and they just cant justify spending the money on a subpar product in basketball, which I feel will turn around after this year.

If Stanford loses, they will be a 2 loss team and we can have an argument that a 2 loss SEC team should get in over a 2 loss Pac 10 team. Previous years when the game was on friday i'd say that it would be a struggle but now that it is on saturday that is 2 days after thanksgiving and most people have returned home to NWA and would sell out. Students would show up too.
