In the post game, Mason was asked about how he felt that they went 10-25 for three pointers. His response was classic: "We can do better" He then talked about how they missed some open looks and how Muss preaches that Pros in the NBA don't miss wide open looks. He said we missed some open looks and we have to get better as we want to be pros and pros don't miss those types of shots. I love the fact that while they blew out Rice, the players were looking for things they could have done better. Thats the mentality this program needs.
I swear I won’t give any more football updates but this was too funny not to share Ben Hicks is working at scout team TE at practice today
We’ve got a bit of a TE shortage if you didn’t hear, and Hicks is never playing QB for us again... so may as well throw him out there I guess.
Lol you all do know chad is going to run some stupid package that’s going to be a throw out to Hicks behind the los and he’s going throw it down field... and it’s going to fail miserably and result in a int/pick6.
I will laugh the entire time as it unfolds and probably yell, "As if this stupid motherfucker can do anything dumber, he goes out and plays hicks at TE to fucking throw a pick six. And PICK SIX HICKS IS BACK BABY WOOOOOOOOOO!"
Couple key guys injured. Or maybe just "injured" and they're tanking the game to ensure Morris is canned.

Ohh thanks for posting this. It's why I asked fans of certain teams to list their homecoming opponents. Forgot to follow up on it Trying to narrow down the coach that said that shit. Im fairly certain it was Gus
Eric Musselman presser 11.07.19 JALEN HARRIS His confidence is up because he put in the work The coaches and players have the confidence in me to take that shot, it was really fun Playing with Jimmy Whitt: He can help me get my shot, it makes everything for me a lot easier On Isaiah Joe and Mason Jones: It creates for a lot of others. It helps us get easy dunks and stuff like that On Musselman's intensity: It feels like what we grew up watching. Being able to see a coach fired up just as much as, it just makes it a lot more fun. On passing this year: Nobody has an ego this year, we just want to keep winning, that's the big goal I asked to come out the second half, I got a quick blow and then came back in. More on Isaiah: The baseline dunk kind of shocked me. Turnovers a concern? Yeah, it's a big concern. If we limit our turnovers, who knows how many points we can put up. Everybody needs to stop overthinking and just play basketball ERIC MUSSELMAN- We are looking forward to a few days of practice. We are gonna try to clean some things up and add some new wrinkles prior to Tuesday night On Vanover: Anything going on with that stuff, is between Connor and his parents. I think he had a great case for the first time, but I kind of stay out of it now On cutting down on turnovers: Show individual film to guys. Jump stops. We've had a lot of charges. We've worked on Ginobli sid-step stuff. We call it avoid-the-charge drill. We will keep working on that. They will probably be an issue all year, it's just about trying to cover that up. The last five years at Nevada we were great taking care of the basketball. I mean, Rice didn't press us and we still turned it over. On Isaiah: Him having the ball in his hands, he become a triple-threat kind of guy. The assists he had were phenomenal. He's a willing passer. On his intensity: I guess, you'd have to ask them. Sometimes my wife tells me to chill out. I think they kind of know what to expect. On the polos: I think we did that for three years. It's kind of been, a lot of the recruits like it. To me, it looks more uniform. People always talk about suits and stuff. On Ethan Henderson: He's a range rebounder, he's a little more unique then some of our guys. He's still a young player. Adrio's done a great job of that and Ethan is learning to do those type of things. He's had a great attitude and we've seen a tremendous amount of growth from him behind closed doors On the rotation: I played all 10 guys in the D-League. At the NBA level, I had a 9-man rotation, At Nevada I played 6 guys. I'm a little different than everybody else. These guys are younger, one to two games a week On Reggie Chaney: It's just the same status as it was going into the last game. We will let everybody know when that changes. I'm sure Mike will put a release out. He and I are talking on the time. He's doing what he's supposed to do which is be focused. He's been great. He's been really working hard.
Are there any restaurants worth a damn in Fayetteville anymore? Trying to find a place for a group dinner when we are in town for thanksgiving. Wife wants us to go to powerhouse but I hate that place other than to grab a kilowatt.
Herman’s wouldn’t be bad. I’m not crazy about it. Did some googling and the opened a Rolando’s there. May suggest that
Mockingbird Kitchen, Cheers at OPO, Bocca, Project 7, Carnal Hall, Eastside Grill, Leverett Lounge... Mermaids maybe. There's always Bordinos, Theos, Doe's on Dickson. Frankly, it could and should be a lot better, but most of the best places to eat are in Benton County. There are a few new places opening up soon, that should be great, but not much else right now.
I’m going to have my rehearsal dinner up there next year. Wedding is in Bentonville but I was thinking rehearsal dinner might be better in Fayetteville so everyone can go out after. Any recommendations?
Fayetteville: Vetro Herman’s Theo’s Mermaids In Bentonville: The Hive River Grille Fred’s Hickory Inn in Rogers: Mister B’s you absolutely have to try Wright’s BBQ if you are in Fayetteville. It’s in Johnson just northwest of the Fayetteville mall. Best BBQ in Ark by a lot.
