Usually any grad transfers who want to go through Spring drills have to be on campus and enrolled within a week of the start of school right?

You're being a dick. I liked the improvement I saw in our defense. I rightly or wrongly credit Odom. Just my uninformed take
I think Odom did a great job of adapting to the talent he had available. We were low on DL talent which necessitated us shifting towards a 3 man front. With more depth there through getting bigger in the offseason, I expect he will shift back to a 4 man traditional front. Odom did a great job in my mind of working within the talent he had. Losses in the secondary really hurt us in a couple games against quality QBs (A&M, Florida, Bama to name a couple). It seems they he has addressed the issues with size at LB in recruiting and has added another DB transfer last week. Overall I think this offseason and spring will be critical to continuing to build a quality defense. The nice thing about Odom is he is still getting paid by Mizzou. If someone lures him away, it won't be for a paycheck. Its going to be for a better role or a better opportunity for him. I think he actually enjoys the work he is doing with Sam and he doesn't have to deal with the media, he can just coach. There is something to be said for those benefits when the pay is equal.
FWIW Odom ran a 3-4 /3-3-5 at Memphis and tried to when he first took over at Mizzou. We switched back to a 4 man front because he could never recruit the lineman needed for a 3man. He might stick w a 3 man DL again
bertwing now that he is coming, how much realistic help do you think he can bring next year? I assume he is enrolling this week and will take part in spring drills. If nothing more he will add some depth, but I know we can use some help on the OL.
Hayden Henry announces he’s returning for another senior season. So, we basically return all starters and everyone in our two deep on both sides of the ball except Feliepe Franks, Rakeem Boyd, and Jonathan Marshall... and I guess our shitty kicker
only one we will miss is marshall. aggies basically returning everyone as well other than mond according to every aggie in houston who will not shut the fuck up about it
will be interesting to see how they do next season. but giving up 200 points over the last 4 games has resulted in me being the most ambivalent i've ever been about raozrback footabll. at least with chad i had someone to hate. now i just feel like they're going to go 5-7 next season or something and it's hard to see a path forward
Auburn should be taking another step back to the pack as should LSU. The odd year seasons are always tough scheduling wise with our conference road games (at Bama, LSU, UGA, and Ole Miss next year) and we add a non con game vs Texas 5-7 or 6-6 may not be a bad year tbh

Harris is the son of former All SEC Hog DL Elliott Harris. He will be a hog. Andrew Chamblee will be a hog. Sategna’s dad coaches track at Arkansas but apparently Southern Cal leads at the moment, but I think a lot of that will improve as he develops a relationship with Guiton. McAdoo is another overrated Delta kid. Our chances with him ended when Stepp left and we will see how hard Guiton pushes to try and get back in the picture. We’re already moving on some Houston area WR’s so I don’t think we really care.

Reminds me a lot of AJ Green that we got out of Tulsa. Shifty with some good speed, just not sure he’s a 20 carry a game back, which is fine. More of an all purpose back which is what we need in this offense, Boyd couldn’t catch. He’s got a lot of potential though and I like the pickup.
