Our perimeter defense has to get a lot better. I think Muss will try a lot of combinations to see what's clicking. It's going to take some time.
I'm not worried about any of it right now. We're a little undersized and we still suck at defending the 3pt shot, but once Muss finds his six guys and they gel, we'll be fine.
The only two players who can create their own shot are Notae who needs to be a 6th man on a good team and lykes who is undersized from women’s hoops
They also need to limit notae to 1 heat check per half. Pretty sure he was 0-4 from 3 on those and an easy way to get him to stop is to just put the stats in front of him and be like 11-22 from the field and 5-10 from 3 gives you a chance to be a real pro but 11-26 and 4-14 doesn’t
Jordan Walsh officially signed this morning. Nick Smith might wait until spring, who knows. Not worried about it. Moody did the same
Was disappointed to see Jaxson Robinson didn’t play at all. We need him to be able to come in and be that sharp shooter. He didn’t show it in the exhibitions, hopeful he can get a little run and build some confidence… but Muss is going to find his 7-8 guys and shut it down after that. We need some others to eat minutes during the non conference though.
Not the best offensive start that’s for sure! Surely there are some plays that have been proven over time to counter blitzes.
Well we won 2 times in basketball today. So that’s a plus. we are a basketball school anyways… then baseball… then track & field… then everything else… THEN football…
Dude was pushed out of bounds for 5 yards and wasn’t called a foul. I’d be pissed too. Fuck these refs.
I know he was pissed. He should have been but the ref had sent them on their way. We get way too many flags and that one was huge
Get screwed on a spot, then shit the bed on fourth down and get a penalty. This is Arkansas football.
That call would t be called against LSU if the roles were reversed. Quit kidding yourselves. They are trying to help LSU win.
I pretend like the last 5 years the hogs didn’t actually play football. (Which isn’t far from the truth )
Man, Arkansas sports is pretty tight right now. Jealous of my son getting experience this as a student rn
I had a mixed bag, got to experience DMac/Felix but also got to experience USC blowouts, Vanderbilt loss at home, etc etc. My senior year was Bobby’s first so at least got to leave on a hopeful note
for some reason i got an email from rivals today after a thread from the SJSU game from 2019 was bumped. that inspired me to go back and read some posts i made on rivals when chad was hired. i was not very happy
lol from the colorado state game in chad's first year: Well at least I don’t have to waste the next 3.5 years of my life caring about Arkansas football Losses don’t bother me as much when I know we have no shot to be good Maybe the AD will fire Chad earlier than the chick who hired him since he wasn’t his pick
called the 2-10 record too during the middle of the second game Chad is basically her hire. If/when he goes 2-10 this year is she going to be told to pack her shit? I still can’t believe she was allowed to do this
oh man this is such a fun trip down memory lane. remember when he claimed his offense is so complex that he couldn't install all of it someone's reply to me: You seem to be basing a lot of things off of seeing 2 games, and about 30% of the offense installed. It's a good thing we don't pay for your insights.
i guess he did exceed my expectations by getting that 4th win Will he win an SEC game before he is fired? I'm guessing he goes something like 3-21 and is fired after three years
goddamn i really wish i wasn't wrong about muss because i was dropping some absolute bangers in 208 have you found there to be an inverse relationship between how excited a player is on social media regarding a program and how they end up playing once they're there? Collin Clay is going ham on social media. Last commit who did this was Derrick Graham who was here for a year.
