Sooooo Hogview care to go into any detail about the brawl tonight? apparently our DL signee Nico Davillier’s mom was getting into it with Parkview and something happened (rumors that Scotty Thurman was calling Davillier a bitch or something), Nico got involved and then there was a bench clearing brawl. Maumelle’s entire bench was ejected and a couple players on floor, and had to forfeit the rest of the game.

I was looking at the Courtyard Marriott off Van Asche Dr. which looks like south Springdale/north Fayetteville. It's not exactly close to campus, but I can book for 60,000 Marriott points which is ~$400ish total for two nights. Not bad on a gameday weekend. Will look at some options off Weddington, we definitely want to be closer to Fayetteville and campus since it's our first trip. Plus fuck fighting gameday traffic to get there/back. Checked The Graduate, it's $549 per night that weekend . Place looks awesome, I'm going to give them a call and see what their Sept rates/availability are. Location looks ideal. There are a bunch of AirBnBs, looked at some off E Lafayette and N. Mission Blvd. They look walkable-ish.
That Marriott isn’t too terribly far. It’s over by the mall in Fayetteville and there’s a bunch of stuff around it. It’d still be a drive/Uber to the game but not too bad.
Did we get whomever we were hoping to sign today? Seems like there will be another round of portal hunting after spring practices. Do we leave spots available for that happening?

How does everyone feel being ranked so low considering? Not going to lie, we got some good pieces in this class but overall, seems like a whiff by this staff, especially defensively…
17th on 247 27th in composite rankings good class considering the low numbers, and when you factor in the transfers we got… I think it’s easily a top 15 class. this next class has a chance to be special

I cannot fucking wait until next season. Smith is going to be the most special hoops player we’ve had for one season. Muss is going to go all in with the transfers to pair with our recruiting class. We should be a top 5 team next year.
Next Season is already being hyped but if Muss leads this team deep into the tourney again this year, holy shit it will be off the charts
Serious question; when is the last time anyone remembers a school rushing the field in football and basketball? The fact we got to watch that (and some got to participate in it) is incredible and a testament to the work Hunter has done as an AD. It’s really encouraging to see EM having the success he has had, following a year of exceeding expectations by Sam Pittman, right before DVH takes another loaded team into Baum. Enjoy it boys; not many people get to experience the types of success we are having.
I would argue that Yurachek is the best hire in the last 50 years in the department. Think about who he has brought in and the work he has done in such a short time. If in 5 years, we’re still booming across the department like we are now, I say make him AD for life
Hell all you have to do is listen to interviews with Van Horn talking about Yurachek and how the culture is completely different.
