you couldn't even afford your store brand contact solution on that trip (that you never used by the way, glad i made that special trip) we should start a gofundme for you
Provo is awful and has iirc 2 bars. SLC is fun and if you can’t have fun there it’s a you thing. I also vote stay in SLC and party wagon down for game day then bail after.
Do we have an official roll call? The Alumni Association doesn’t have a Utah chapter which tbh I found a little surprising so we’ll need to do some planning. I’ve reached out to some BYU alums about visiting fan experiences and will report back with their info.
I was afraid of that. Incredibly lame shit. IMO that solidifies pregaming in SLC and chartering a van or something to Provo.
If I'm able to pull off being there that weekend, you best BELIEVE we all are sneaking in flasks and/or airplane bottles into the game. FYI, Utah has/had really weird beer laws where they can't be over 3.2% I think? the law ended in November of 2019 but I was there in 2020 and most beer was still only around that 4% mark including craft beers.
It's been raised to 5%, but it's important to add that the distribution determines where that max exists. Draft, yes. Cans in a gas station, yes. If you go to Uinta or Epic or whatever, you can get bottles or cans that are every bit as strong as the usual craft options.
Oklahoma has a weird law like this where refrigerated beer could only be 3.2%. You could go to a liquor store and buy full proof beer but it was always kept separate from the refrigerated section. No clue who thought up that great law or what they were trying to prevent by putting it in place. Oklahomans are the worst and that is saying something coming from a liberal who lives in Arkansas.
That Catalon PF was bullshit. He hit that dude in his midsection and after all that laying on the ground he came back in after one play.
Is Haselwood playing today? Flipping between three games, and every time I catch Arkansas on offense, I’ve yet to see him.
Honestly this looks a lot like the Rice game last year. Penalties, missed assignments, missed tackles, and a bunch of stutter steps on offense. Let’s hope we see some good adjustments in the second half.
I am telling myself this is a much better team than Rice. This is a good defense and this is a well coached team.
And I’m really tired of these announcers comparing us the Alabama just because we’re both in the SEC West and playing Cincinnati. We’re not the same.
