Its nice when we play a team that can't hit a three I didn't think we were gonna do it today because we kept closing to 2-3 points and they would jump back up to a 6-7 point lead.
Yea, and we definitely showed some toughness today with them jumping around and us cutting the lead. Why is it that every game at the beginning our weak side defense is shit? It is exploited just about every game in the first half then we close it up a little bit but shit is mind bottling.
If we could ever get our basketball team back to where it once was, Hog fans would actually be able to enjoy the Hogs across multiple sports again. This team just doesn't have what those teams in the 90s had though. Then again, maybe college basketball has changed enough that we may never see that again.
Yea you can't hand check like we used to that is an instant foul these days. As Nolan said "We got to get some more men!" and that is exactly what we need. It looks to be taken care of in next years recruiting class. From what I've noticed there are a hand full of coaches that can instantly make an impact on a program where others it takes a while to get a recruiting base from since most bball players are recruited from 8th grade on up.
yeah with all the good players being one or two and done nowadays, it has really changed how basketball is coached and recruiting is done.
http://www.arkansassports360.com/23057/full-court-press-arkansas-70-alabama-65 Man May-Day with the Big O was fun to watch. McDaniel with Corliss, Scotty and the other Champs were a fun brand of Hog ball to watch.
One thing I do like about Pelphery is that he has no problems bringing the people who built our program around, it's nice to see those faces on campus again.
Irving (Texas) DE Horace Arkadie, 6-5, 250, 4.7, has committed to Arkansas. Arkadie chose Arkansas over Virginia and Purdue.
after not being able to get a top tier OL coach it appears UT is coming after mid-tier coach... yalls
Grats on Arkadie. Our coaches really liked him and apparently tried to make a late push. He's been yours for a while tho.
It is amazing that we have so many amazing HS athletes seriously considering Arkansas. I am what most would call negative and I feel comfortable saying Arkansas is very close to being a consistent top 10 team in the nation. We just have to get get over that hump against the best teams in the SEC not named LSU.
I agree with this. One thing to note is that the people we have replacing the losses on OL played 50% of the snaps this year, so i really dont see that much of a drop off. We get rid of the false starting machines.
This is what I was thinking as well but I don't want to get my hopes up too much just yet. I also think it is good we get three rent a wins before playing at Bama so we can work out any bugs on the Offense.
Officially enrolled as of today: OT Brey Cook WR Marquel Wade WR Quinta Funderburk LB Tyler Gilbert DT Robert Thomas
The Golden Boot game is being moved back to Friday after being replaced for a couple of years by the Iron Bowl.
great to have AO back. It's always good to have that kind of talent pushing the other guys for starting jobs, especially on the O-Line
"Chris Barnett now says he will visit Miami, Michigan and possibly USC and won't sign anywhere on NSD. Considers himself a soft UA commit." What is going on with this? Did the staff tell him to look around? Are we making room for others?
From what I understand he was scared off by our OC looking at the Tulsa job, and coac h petrino is already looking at other TE's. doubt he ends up at Arkansas. we will be fine.
Holy fuckng shitty officiating down the stretch. Missed goaltending, bogus moving screen, hand checks and on and on fuck!

pshhhhhhhhh frazier is a rich man's cam newton all i know is, arkansas sure as hell won't be winning the SEC
looks like DB Jared Singletary and DT Lonnie Gosha are looking around and will be taking other visits.... Apparently, CBP will do an in-home visit with Charles Jackson though
