I like reddish. Watched almost every Duke game this year and he's talented. Definitely needs to develop more especially consistency but he has got the tools. Hunter is my #1 tho
He looks smooth on the court and has the tools. Pierce is known as a developmental guy so he could hopefully fix his issues and make him a star. I don’t see him as an alpha, but we wouldn’t need him to be.
I have massive questions on Culver, Reddish, Hunter I think Reddish game has the longest to go, but I have the least questions on his athletic ability to Defend the widest variety of players. Id take that gamble over Hunter and Culvers question marks.
If we ended up with Culver and Reddish I’d be estatic. Hunter is my number 1 but I’ll trust Travis if he decides those 2 are his guys. Our back court would be insane in a year or two
Maybe add a future pick but don't see us giving up Huerter, Trae, or John and don't see them wanting anything else we have on our roster.
Source: Knicks reject Hawks' offer for No. 3 pick The New York Knicks have declined a recent trade offer that would have sent the No. 3 overall draft pick to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for the eighth and 10th picks, a source told ESPN's Jonathan Givony. The Hawks have been aggressively exploring trade scenarios in which they would package the Nos. 8 and 10 picks to move up in Thursday's NBA draft, the source told Givony. But the Knicks were not interested in moving down to acquire Atlanta's picks, according to the source. Although Duke's RJ Barrett has been projected as the No. 3 pick, New York plans to hold a workout Wednesday for Vanderbilt guard Darius Garland, according to Givony. Garland recently told ESPN that he is the "best" guard in the draft; he has been widely viewed as a top-five pick. He was projected to go No. 5 overall to Cleveland in ESPN's latest mock draft, but Caesars Sportsbook currently lists Garland as a minus-170 favorite to be selected No. 4. New Orleans is considering the possibility of trading the No. 4 pick to Atlanta for Nos. 8 and 10, the source told Givony. ESPN reported Saturday that the Pelicans will acquire the fourth pick as part of the blockbuster trade that will send Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers. Minnesota, Boston and Chicago are three more teams that are looking at the possibility of trading up to the No. 4 pick, with Garland in mind, according to Givony.
I'm intrigued by the ability to draft RJ but given how ball dominant he was in college I have a few concerns about the fit. I guess I trust Schlenk enough to get his guy, but he's the only one I would want to pay 8 and 10 for. Doing so for anyone else likely to be at that spot feels like an overpay.
Agreed. 10/17 go ensure we get the guy we want makes sense. But 8/10 is too steep for Culver/Hunter/Cam.
I would not be surprised if we have a deal in place with NO to trade 8 and 10 contingent on RJ being available (if the Knicks take Garland)
We saw who Horford is. He's a very good but not great player who isn't going to get you over the hump. He will sign for much more than he's ultimately worth.
Latest athletic mock has Reddish/Hayes/Clarke/Okeke. While I hate Hayes, Clarke at 17 would be amazing. Really high on him.
That would be a great draft. Not the biggest Hayes fan either but he fits and I trust the development
If we draft Hunter I would want to get a jersey so badly but I have somewhat cursed luck with buying jerseys too early so I will refrain
I’m gonna be disappointed if we don’t end up with Reddish, but I was mad about the Luka trade last year so what do I know?
Was really hoping we could package these to move up a few spots if we see an opportunity, or else draft and stash. A bit disheartening to see us sell two of them.
