He’s not gonna have his normal explosiveness for a couple weeks.
I would think the chance to injure it much worse increases as well. It seems guys who also don't totally trust injure other parts of his body too. I hope he recovers back to normal. Incredible talent and an asset to the league.
Was there ever any official update on Capela? They were supposed to give one by 5:00 p.m. and I haven't seen anything.
Woj hinting at a 5 yr deal for Nate on ESPN Countdown show
I mean it's inevitable. If he wasn't locked in, I'm sure all these teams wouldn't be rushing to hire coaches with no experience.
Don't see Nate walking away from a loaded roster either. He'd be an idiot if he tried to leverage this year just for more money elsewhere.
I wonder if Nate was given the option to have contract discussions before or after the playoffs. He deserved it before the post season started.
By all accounts it happened at the start and he was committed to staying by end of first round
today is first I have heard on actual length of term. 5 years is a strong commitment, and more from Nates side given he had to be convinced to take interim gig.
I was expecting/hoping it would be more like 3 years given how quickly shit can go south, but then again we've literally never had a coach in Atlanta with the Hawks go this far.
Over/under 18 minutes for Reddish?
Over. It’s a travesty if not. Cutting into Bogie’s minutes isn’t a bad thing
yep. I think he needs at least 20
He needs to be basically middletons shadow
Better be over
Guy finally played well for the 1st time in the playoffs.
we gonna forget game 1 in Philly?
Yeah but I’d rather bogie’s minutes be fresh ones. Defense travels and it’s clear cam gave Middleton fits with his length.
Just have to split Bogie and Kevin’s minutes as much as possible. Gotta ply 48 with 1 on the floor
or the Knicks series
Bogi been a great fit in terms of culture and attitude. Really happy Milwaukee tampered and got caught there.
Capela is reported to be playing tonight.
Can’t wait for tonight!
Trae out tonight per woj
That’s fine. No need to rush him back especially since it’s not an elimination game.
I think it is safe to say though that tonight is probably the most important game in Atlanta Hawks history.
Lloyd Pierce got a NBA job
Oh assistant job
Game seven in Philly was. Second most was Game seven in Boston in 88. Hopefully Game six in Atlanta will top it.
The lack of rebounding is infuriating
Not the start I was hoping for.
I'm having Horford flashbacks.
Predictable. We needed Trae to change up the dynamic
Lou getting ripped by Bobby Portis WTF
A lot of close range shots missed too.
They just came out playing like shit. Fuck this.
Yeah you could see this shit coming a mile away. Trae out hurts us more than them only missing Giannis.
That was embarrassing. Luckily I was looking down during it live and the replay.
Gallinari needs to fucking quit with the three's
We've definitely settled down the past couple minutes.
Lack of a backup pg has been the biggest problem after settling in
I think basically every ball went their way that quarter other than Gallo’s circus shot. Probably not going to be that way the entire game but have to do something about protecting the rim. Lopez looks like fucking Wilt Chamberlin.
How was that a reach in
Bogi is the only starter it seems to have scored outside of a free throw. The 2nd team was making a comeback
It seems we've unsettled in.
Lopez looks like prime Tim Duncan tonight.
It’s a miracle we aren’t down 25
I say that it is pretty much a win as shitty as we have played to go in the half down by nine. Hopefully Nate has some adjustments ready.
Happy with cam in that half
