I just looked at the course layout with "reversable" holes?? What the fuck? Are you not constantly hitting at other people when sharing a fairway??
Definitely not worth $80. Greens are massive, nothing sticks no breaks pretty much on top of people every hole. Pretty generic layout. Will be using the range though.
I play East Lake weekly with my group. Solid course not sure if you've heard of it. Peachtree is our change of pace course... we head over there once a month or so
I’m playing Piedmont Driving Club on Monday Candler was just super convenient for a quick 9 literally any day after work that I wanted to play.
CBS Atlanta can fuck right off. If I cared about a storm in the suburbs I’d watch another channel or google.
Saw some for $60 last weekend but still high for what it is. I'll play once for the novelty and use the range regularly
Will use the range but won’t be paying $80 to play nine twice again. Not terrible, pretty boring layout.
On certain days, we will be playing 18 continuous holes enjoying both the Magnolia and Azalea courses. When you play Magnolia and Azalea in the same round, you’ll be part of a shotgun start with golfers starting at the same time on all nine of the holes of the Magnolia course. Then, when every group has completed their ninth hole and at the same time, everyone begins their 10th hole of play on the Azalea course, going the opposite direction and enjoying a completely different nine holes coming home. That’s 18 distinct holes of golf, traditional, but not traditional!
Do any of y'all play disc golf? Didn't realize there's a course real close to me now at Suwanee Creek Park. I haven't played since we moved from Texas several years ago now and it was one of my favorite things as long as I could have a couple of beers.
Anyone here get a moving violation/citation recently? My dumbass just got one in Dunwoody turning onto Ashford Dunwoody Rd exiting from 285 West Bound. The light was red and there was a sign that you can't turn right on red there even though the damn lane looks like you'd just yield to oncoming traffic since it bends (not a hard right turn), a cop was right behind me and I stupidly never even checked my rear-view mirro. The cop said I'd probably have to wait until early next week before I could call the court to get more information, I definitely can't contest this since I was very much in the wrong but do you always have to complete a defensive driving course to get the points off your record? Is there some kind of plea I can make in court to not get points and just pay the fine (saw something like this online but it may be BS). I was hoping I'd just get a warning but nope, however this the first ticket I've received in probably 14 years so I'm not anywhere close to getting my license suspended but would rather have a clean record if I can do an online course (hopefully).
If you go to court , plead nolo contendere ( said this as kind of a joke ) Pay your ticket Keep on trucking.. amigo
I went out there late afternoon last week to hit balls and ended up walking 18. They layout is ridiculously confusing, especially when walking. The tee boxes (all 8 of them per hole) are barely marked and don't follow any sort of logical flow. The course was in decent shape compared to what it used to be but the layout just sucks. I'd much rather spend that money to drive a little further outside the city for a decent course.
Ate at Hal's for the first time last night. Best steak I've ever had in Atlanta. Hal's > Rathbuns Rathbuns has better sides no hookers as hostesses.
Best seat in ATL is at the tables by the bar facing the hookers working at the piano- smoking a cigar.
could try telling the judge you were going to cheesecake factory at the mall. It is worth a minor traffic violation or two.
Avondale Lake, Candler Lake at Emory are basically the only ponds/lakes. Otherwise, you'll be on the Hooch.
