I had completely forgotten about the protests until I kept hearing nonstop sirens and low flying helicopters after midnight last night. It’s a shame people had to take advantage of the protests for their own gains to loot and destroy businesses. Bottoms and killer mike did a great job, but the people looting don’t care about what they or anyone else has to say.
Yeah I kinda thought Marta would've been running on limited hours now anyway. If anything it seems more likely that people drove or caught a ride
Update: We were supposed to go have a social distancing backyard happy hour at our friends new home but it’s been canceled because some of the women are too scared to leave their houses.

Awful disingenuous to frame it as if those people were in some way on the fence before last night. Those people have always thought they made the right decision and it's shameful to act as if some opportunity to change their minds or make them reconsider things was squandered last night.

I got the emergency notice on my phone at 9:12. Kind of hard to abide by a curfew if the alert comes after the fact. And APD were just arresting people left and right. I’m sick of this shit.
I had birthday dinner plans at 8pm. At 7 I got a text saying that a curfew at 9 was canceling my dinner. They need to do a better job of communicating that next time.

Yeah. I’m not mad that they were canceled. I’m just saying it seemed like no communication from the city l. As someone said the notification came after in the curfew was in effect so people could have been out and arrested and had no idea.

We sat on the patio at U-Joint in Oakhurst last Saturday a 3p. Only 6 tables distanced and you ordered at the window. Went great and pulled up my mask when I went to order and when food was delivered. Let it down while sitting and eating.

Went on a run to beat curfew. National guard is out in full force at Lenox Mall and something was going on outside Blue Hookhah lounge. About 10 cop and a big argument in the parking lot across the street.
