I’m doing a project down in Locust Grove (I know, it sucks) and was bored Monday night and cruised over to midtown and just thought “this is it” Will be in your guys fine city a lot this summer. Forgot how much I enjoyed Atlanta
I lived in midtown for 5 years and loved the hell out of it. Def miss it at times. Its just a good central part to all the neighborhoods (obviously), but if whenever we get back to normal its got a ton of action happening as well.
We looked hard at Adair Park when house hunting. Got a coworker who lives near Pittsburgh and loves it.
Love the houses in Adair Park. If I could choose anywhere in this area it would be there. Do wonder how loud the train gets over there because it gets decently loud where I’m at, but not enough to move the needle. Was in Pittsburgh for work the other day and that area is still pretty touch and go in my book but is obviously only a matter of time.
I pushed hard for west end, kept showing my wife's houses for half our budget. One gentrification run was enough for her, tho

Inman Park patios look like they did pre-coronavirus right now. You might explain away the few mask wearers as hypochondriacs
I lived in Brookhaven and commuted up to Alpharetta. Took me usually 20 minutes in the morning and anywhere from 20-45 at night. If you go to the gym (plenty in Alpharetta), you can always do that either before or after work to cut down on time spent in traffic. As someone posted above, live where you’ll enjoy yourself. Traffic is inevitable.
Yeah once you get past that merge getting on 400 North from 75 South it's not bad Can still suck driving home though
Hitting the hooch today, hoping the Rona doesn’t combine itself with whatever is percolating in the river
So apparently there’s a water main break and the city is without water. Got home from playing tennis, tried washing my hands and was very confused.
It comes out as a trickle, doubt you can shower. I just went to Savi and CVS and everyone is buying all the waters.
This made me check again, and it seems to be coming out of the faucet just fine, and it wasn't like 20 minutes ago. Hopefully they fixed it.

Water fine here, we just got grazed by the bottom Half of that storm. Sandy Springs and above got rocked. Friend in Alpharetta says they have no peer
Why are legislators of any kind so fucking dumb? https://atlanta.eater.com/2020/6/26...delivery-heads-to-georgia-governor-brian-kemp
Anyone ever renew their license online? I logged into the dds site but there is nothing about renewals in the portal. I have a real ID and meet the requirements to renew online so I’m hoping this doesn’t mean I have to go in.
I just renewed mine online. Thought they were going to make me come in as it said pending for about a week, but now I have an update saying it was approved and mailed out. As long as you have an online account you should be able to renew. You have to login first and then it should give you the option.
Anyone in here have a reference for golf lessons? I've hacked it up over the years, but never actually got into it. Trying to get some lessons and dive in.
Apparently 10 High is opening this weekend. That is the last place in the city you will find me when a virus outbreak is spreading.
Doesn't Bobby Jones have a range now? They probably have em. I got lessons at Charlie Yates. Guy was OK. There are a few indoor video training centers in Buckhead
