I went to high school with Emma and used to be pretty good friends with her. I follow their page but have never been. Is it worth the line?
yea lived up to the hype. Got in line at 12:45 and was just under a 30minute wait. Reminded me of the original H&F days in terms of limited quantity, amazing quality.
Picked up some halfway crooks and big softie Saturday after taking my kid to the zoo. Halfway crooks is wildly expensive. What's the best public golf course in Atlanta? Chastain? Also, still trying to get to big Dave's for a cheese steak. Been by 3 times in the last few weeks and can't get in. May try the new sport in doraville.
I like Brown's Mill personally. They keep it in pretty good shape and pace of play is generally better than Chastain
Literally City of Atlanta? None. Drive 30 minutes to the burbs is the only answer. Charlie Yates is find for a short course 9 holes
i've been playing Wolf Creek a decent amount this year - usually pretty empty during the week so can squeeze in 18 in about 3 hours if you're lucky.
One of my sisters asked me for a hotel rec that has good views of the city and I guess she’s looking for downtown and midtown. I’ve never had to stay in any hotels here so I wasn’t sure what to recommend. Her and some friends are just having a girls weekend so nothing special, and she didn’t mention anything in particular she wanted to be close to, just views I guess. If anyone can help out that would be appreciated
I’ve only picked out an apartment and gym. I haven’t made it to the fighting publix part of my list yet.
Not to derail what you've already picked but I worked out at Forum when I lived in O4W and it was surprisingly cheap for the quality (though that may have changed). Parking might be a bitch if you don't live within walking distance though.
How you gonna live in the old 4th ward but work out in Marietta. that shit ain't gonna work broseph. There are plenty of planet fitnesses around that allow sumo
There are multiple options around here! I like to settle my scores at the Publix on Ponce but there’s a nice one on Memorial as well
Atlanta gave up on Covid. Avoiding anything on the beltline is a good strategy because those bars and people don't give a fuck.
Got covid visiting my parents for Christmas. Sucked but having the feeling of a little bit immunity for a while now.
Went to the mountains yesterday and showed the GF Helen. No masks on a bunch of unhealthy olds in big crowds. Left real quick.
First, Helen fucking sucks. Second, been up to Blue Ridge and it's the same. Fucking mountain folk and exurb republicans
Take a foreigner to a town like Helen and their reaction to these people existing and getting her out of the Atlanta bubble is worth it.
I don’t think it’s confined to chuds though. Like, if some guy leaves his house to go to the hardware store and realizes half way that he forgot his mask, he probably doesn’t turn around because what are the chances that the two guys in the place have covid. This hypo presumes this guy exist though which might not be the case
