My strategy there is to avoid the standard bbq, I can make that stuff at home. I go with fried ribs/brisket fries/burger/chili mac.
A lot of states where sports betting is legal don't allow prop betting on individual collegiate athletes.
The standard bbq is also where they are weakest. Their sides and sandwiches and specialty items are all awesome.
I haven’t had Fox Bros in at least 2-3 years. Looking forward to the second location in The Works opening hopefully sooner rather than later.
Do not go until you've gotten your jab. The word has gotten out on Dr Scofflaws and then some. Stroller Central and then some the past 2 weekends. Basically like an outdoor PCM. Its going to be an awesome setup once everything opens up. Right next to where Bold Monk is.
I think a few woman tried to run the scam and now it's gone viral. Not sure if the original lady was actually stuck.
Yea I'll probably still avoid things like that for a while. Have done curbside pick up at krog street a couple times but really have no interest in eating/drinking inside a crowded food hall. Went to the aquarium yesterday and I swear it's more crowded than non pandemic times. I was there at 8 and it was amazing for about an hour then it got nuts and we left. I'm 10 weeks out from covid and get the shot Thursday. I went March of last year until getting covid in January without eating inside a restaurant or really going anywhere non essential.
Was craving ribs yesterday, first choice was Das BBQ, but "there were no available postmates" so we got The Glenwood. I'm not sure about the rest of the menu -- wife said the brisket was only "OK", but The Glenwood has some pretty solid ribs. Would recommend. Not my best photo, but you get the idea...
We are so close to the finish line and it feels great We have gone to outdoor strictly spots but each subsequent week the rules following gets worse or noexistant. I do wonder how much of the crowds are = Already had covid, got the Antibodies. Oh well. I am about to travel the world and waste a lot of money at atl restaurants.
I'm baffled why places like Pour are popular. I don't want to pour my own fucking beer. Also, they cut you off after 3-4 beers. Fuck em. Went to one in Chicago 2-3 years ago and the style just annoyed the fuck outta me
Oh yeah. For got about that. Gratuity added to tabs not closed out. Which is amazing. I'm tipping you after pouring my own fucking drinks?
They'll eliminate the limit if you can go to a staff member and tell them your not drunk or a friend used your code....have reupped many times
Pour doesn't even have a good selection of beers. My friends like going there, so I end up going there, only redeeming thing is that you can order pizza from Nina and Rafi.
Yeah same, but that's annoying. Let me go to a bar and have the bartender overserve me without questions
Northside Hospital has tons of openings for vaccines this week. My kid has asthma and I just signed up to get stuck on Thursday.
I saw Scoville Hot Chicken handed out meals to healthcare workers at Northside. I really do appreciate the sentiment. I’m just imagining that whole hospital’s staff running between patient room and bathroom after eating hot chicken
Kemp is talking today at 2pm about maybe opening up more eligibility. If you have any pre-existing conditions or might be a little chucky when looking at BMI, TN has opened up phase 1c. You just need to drive up there on a weekday to get a shot. Tons of availability
Seems like most states are on to 16+ with health issues. I wouldn't be surprised to see Kemp to go there in 2-3 weeks. It's also amazing that GA has just fully eliminated phases. No one has any fucking idea what is next
Alaska just opened 16+ with no requirements. I think most of the rest of the country is heading that way
