I will say, the process to get vaccinated at both Publix and Kroger was really well done. If they open up, I can recommend both of them. Spoiler Not that my opinion means a damn thing.
IDK but I just signed up for next week. They don't have the right drop downs but I'll be eligible so IDGAF BMI of 25 is pretty ridiculous. I'm 6' and could be 190 and still qualify. I'd have some visible abs if I was at 190
I did the same thing. I’m not waiting for them to update their categories and all the appointments be booked. I’d rather explain on Tuesday how I qualify under Kemp’s new criteria.
I’m assuming they don’t give a fuck once you’re there. I’ll find out tomorrow. I think the website said they don’t know which shot you’ll get and that it’s just based on supply. With that being said, I hope I get to choose so I can get that sweet sweet J&J juice.
You're going to Northside tomorrow? Assuming you're going as a "care taker" Why do you want J&J? Just so you're protected faster and don't have to do a second shot? I see the benefit
I just want protection from getting very sick and would prefer the single shot. From what I gather, they all offer the same thing for the most part. edit: yes, I get the shot cause my kid has asthma
just an fyi for all you with a poor BMI https://fultoncountyboh.jotform.com/210075657162049 https://app.blockitnow.com/consumer...cedureId=9505487d-4954-48ac-8dff-53055e6b2a1f
Let's set the record straight that BMI is a poor measure of health for people who are aren't built like a girl. I'd be "overweight" at 190 with a BMI over 25. I'd be extremely sexy and skinny at 190. I've been there before about a decade ago.
Imma little extra fluffy right now from Covid beers, but even if I was at 200 and happy I'd have a BMI of 28 or so.
Capstone 88 insists that he can throw a football 50+ yards while also maintaining that he’s some sort of hulk type. If he were truly strong, he would pop a football like a raw egg upon picking it up.
Pfizer dose #1 flowing through my veins at Northside. Took 10 minutes from the time I parked to getting the stick. You just register and get the shot. No proof needed. Super easy and fast.
Can't wait for Tuesday. Then April 15th or so and I'll be released to public on May 1st. Watch out Beltline!
The nurse said they currently only have Pfizer at this location (1001 Summit). She hasnt seen any J&J here yet.
That's fine. My wife got Pfizer too so getting J&J isn't going to really get me out there any faster. Man....I might do something fucking wild like eat indoors. Crazy new world out there.
How good is the Little's burger in Cabbagetown? Walked by it the other day while walking my dog, and I've heard quite a bit about it. Also, has anyone had Girl Diver yet?
Girl Diver was damn good. When we went they didn't have a liquor license so you got 2 drinks free which was nice
Congrats in advance to Gin Buckets for becoming the 1st mayor of buckhead. https://www.wsj.com/articles/atlant...-to-the-suburbs-11615467182?mod=hp_listb_pos2
That video from the nest is terrifying and a reminder to keep a cool head in traffic lest some psycho follows you home and points an assault rifle at you
I don't go to Buckhead if I don't have to, but I haven't seen shit for a crime increase down in Kirkwood & East Lake. Anyone else? I feel like these NIMBYs are at fault anyways. It's just Karma for killing late 90s early 2000s Buckhead and turning it into some posh bullshit mall that no one wants to go to
What's the best shawarma in Atlanta? My easy #1 is Pita Grille in Buckhead. It's overpriced, but by far the most authentic I've had in the US. It's delicious. Since I can no longer get that, I'm trying to find a new place for shawarma. Nick's was a nice substitute for a while, but gyros aren't the same thing.
Ali Baba on Euclid is good. Not sure they have exactly what you're looking for. I need me some Berlin Doner Kebab
Google says pita grille is permanently closed. I’ve had mamouns, which was not nearly as good as their New Haven location(though I also ate it sober). Tannour was pretty good from what I recall. Still trying to find a legit place with jars of chili oil on the tables so I can destroy my insides.
I'm looking for the shawarma a street vendor served me in Jerusalem, or at least something somewhat close to it -- Pita Grille legit had that. They had a tough location and I think their prices were so high because I'm pretty sure they shipped everything in from Israel. German/Polish doner is just as good, I'd love that, but have never found what you're talking about in the US. Strangely enough, Turkish doner, where doner originated, is not nearly as good as the German and Polish doners. Also, it's worth noting that I was pretty unimpressed with both of the PCM and KSM options. That Marrakesh place is a perpetual disappointment, and never worth ordering. Halal Guys isn't bad, but it's a chain.
Yeah, I've only had it in Berlin. The only good food I ate there It's not close but I know ppl that love this place https://jerusalembakery.restaurant/
