Eater updated their best sandwich in Atlanta list in October. I hadn't seen it, and I haven't had most of these. https://atlanta.eater.com/maps/best-sandwiches-atlanta Also, It'sAlwaysSunnyInAthens Have you had the Thai place that is in the same complex as the Zesto in Tyrone? I think it is new, but
I haven't even heard of it. Must be new. Have we talked about She craft? Asian/Korean fusion place that people rave about. Not a huge fan of Korean food but that some really good stuff. Best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had.
100%. Love that you said that. I used to have an addiction to Spezzano's subs. I've also gone there for steaks, place is fantastic. (My work is right near the Senoia/Crabapple intersection, so that's the only reason I know these places so well. Speaking of, Hammond's BBQ is really good too, but they aren't open M-W). Please let me know if you try that Thai place, I was eyeing it today. Next time you're near there (Near Mad Greek), look for the sketchiest business I've ever seen called Hold Back Holdings. Place has cardboard in all the windows, and the parking lot is empty 90% of the time, but every now and then I'll see a 6 figure benz in the parking lot. I also have seen loads of cop cars in the parking lot -- they could just be congregating, but Idk. I posted about this place in the random thoughts thread before actually.
I know exactly where you are talking about. I grew up right across the railroad tracks in Tyrone. Drive by there every morning dropping my daughter off at my mom's. Have you ever seen the vans with full graphics promoting underground rap albums?
I like it a lot. It’s not the same or as good as say Ammazza but it’s a really good pie and they’re huge. It is a little greasy which is the only downside.
No please tell me where it is because from the shit angles on Instagram it didn't look like it was over near Bishop street
Drove by Pullman Yards last night. People and cars everywhere for the Van Gogh experience - wouldn’t believe it'd been an abandoned for decades. I’m going Saturday if anyone wants to hook me up with some edibles.
Went on Wednesday night. The immersive experience is perfect for that. Sat in there for what seemed like forever.
Unless you have done the museum in Amsterdam its worth it. The first half is basically the museum . There is a VR part I did not do. The immersive experience plus checking out Pullman in its early stages is what you pay for.
What was the seating situation like? I’ve seen some pictures on Instagram with people sitting on the ground? Is that for the whole time?
Tell me where I should go get dinner/beers tonight. What's good and new-ish. Probably anything Dekalb Ave-ish/Beltline adjacent south or west end
Could really be anywhere. I'm in East Lake an meeting someone driving up from the airport. Thx for the recs. I think I went to wonderkid before the pandemic

I’ve always viewed dress codes as an easy way for businesses to decline service to people they don’t want to associate with. Mainly golf clubs in my experience, but I can see restaurants getting in on the action.
Sweetwater brewery just can’t handle putting on the Hawks game. What a joke. Wonder why Atlanta is such a shit sports town.
We had to let them know the Braves and Hawks were about to start so plan accordingly. They had the tv on the nfl network during the 1st inning of the Braves game.
I like Dos Bocas too there. Kids will also like the Sun Dial at the top of the Westin (or I did as a kid).
Waiting for my to go order at Little Rey and two girls in front of me ordered sixteen (16!) to go Margaritas. All of them had to be in individual cups and Little Rey isn’t allowed to put lids on them. It was just them two picking it all up. Would love to know how that ride home went.
Your airport was an absolute mad house this morning. Got stranded there last night so had to be in with the morning rush
