We will probably just stay downtown. The conference is at the Georgia World Congress Center and will go on all week, so we will probably just hang out around there.
For those who work near the Battery, I recommend leaving the office as soon as possible. There’s some show with Def Leppard, Poison, Warrant and a handful of other trash band (or as I’m calling it, “Lost Custody/Multiple DUI Fest), that’s making things more congested than a Friday night Braves game.
Had a mano tonight. On one hand, pasta is way cheaper than at The Americano. On the other hand, nowhere near as good.
Rugby World Cup coming to US in 31 and 33. Atlanta will probably be chosen, so don’t waste your excitement on the soccer thing.
No. My last few trips to town have been fox brothers, ph'east, eight sushi, Americano, and A mano. Do you ever go to Ph'east? Had a few things that were really good.
I was going there a lot during the pandemic for pickup(that free wine while you waited was awesome). Food has always been great.
We really liked walking up on Friday and getting free wine before dinner. My only complaint is that they took the meatball parm off the menu
Which pasta did you get? I do feel like their carbonara isn't as good as it used to be. The fusili is always awesome, but it's also super rich.
Wife got carbonara. I got bolognese. Also had the cacio e pepe. Best thing I had was my daughters kid's pasta lol.
yea it was fairly big story at the time. Sure all the news stories would come up on google. His Gf struggled with what happened for a while, but now seems to have her bread business taking off.
So not only are airlines slammed but apparently the parking is too. Wife is going on a quick trip and apparently my dumbass decided to suggest she drive vs taking an uber. Literally every lot is full. North or south, hourly, economy, daily. How the fuck is it that bad?
That's where she ended up, but there was a line to get into it. Took time for the shuttle. She's 45 min from departure and just got to the terminal. So probably a bit stressed and I'm nervous as fuck right now b/c I told her to drive. Yeah, it's something I guess to start checking if you're going to drive.
My fiancee's cousin will be participating in this in July we are going to try and make the showcase game on the 17th. He is from Chippewa Reservation at the top of ND and Minnesota is the farthest he has ever traveled so we are really excited for him. https://www.mlb.com/press-release/p...-foundation-to-host-first-ever-native-america
Yeah I have to drive. Also have a PreCheck screening at 8am. So showing up with no parking at the airport would have really screwed things up.
there has been airport parking construction for a while now, with accompanying signs warning of said construction. can't be getting there at peak hours unless you MARTA.
I picked my SO up today from international and it was a bitch. Whenever we travel together I make her Marta.
International is absurdly easy to get in and out of. There is never traffic. Ride share seems to have gotten really flaky. Taking 10-15 minutes to find a driver, 60-75 round trip vs 30 in a lot and it is easier to just drive if there was parking available.
I mean, you probably only see those when you actually get there. it's not like they have signs up around Edgewood. My last few flights have all been international or emergency flights and I had to park hourly for 3 days. Don't remember any parking signs when I flew domestic twice in March
Park n ticket is a solid choice if you board your dog when you travel. Wag, which is right around the corner, has an agreement with them for $5/day parking when you board your dog. Was working near the convention center for a while and took my dog a couple times a week for daycare. He loved going and their hours for daycare were great (6am-10pm) which was really good when I was working 12+ hour days.
