I was super dissapointed in NFA but I went during the worst of covid so I think menu was limited. They didn't have any of the massive burgers you see on social media. Fred's meat and bread is pretty good. Fox Brother's does a brisket burger (actual partied burger) once a week that looks insane. Haven't tried it though.
Saw a list of top 20 breakfast sandwiches in America... 10. Atlanta, Georgia: Egg Sammie at Little Tart Bakeshop Matt Kirouac Any time an artisanal, scratch-made bakery tries its hand at savories, the results are illuminating. Atlanta's The Little Tart Bakeshop is a prime example. While primarily known for its sweets and pastries, like chocolate pistachio croissants and peach galettes, the bakery is just as adept in the savory department, applying the same diligent attention to detail as any fine pastry. The modestly named Egg Sammie may not look or sound original, but every element of this deceptively simple feat shows an impressive level of craft. For starters, it's all served on homemade, buttered English muffins, which are pillowy-soft. Along with Thomasville Tomme, a creamy and earthy semi-soft cow's milk cheese (via Sweet Grass Dairy), the sandwich levels up with a souffléd farm egg to attain an impossibly fluffy, airy quality. Downright ethereal in its light texture, you can try one for $6.50 at the flagship Grant Park location or at outposts in Summerhill and Krog Street Market Read More: https://www.tastingtable.com/940402...fast-sandwiches-in-america/?utm_campaign=clip
Hello, I will be visiting Atlanta for the Georgia-Oregon game where should I stay? What would be a good neighborhood for an AirBnb and or should I just look at doing downtown hotels? Also some food rec's and other activity suggestions would be awesome
Midtown or if you want a nhood house that is walkable and close to Marta look around Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward
Food recs we can do closer to gametime I agree with Midtown being best. Otherwise Inman Park area. Imo just clear it with this thread before you book. Will see you there.
Second Inman or O4W, quick to the stadium and can walk the beltline and close to lots of good restaurants.
Every time you besmirch me with an Ivy joke, I plant a landline in your yard. Govern yourself accordingly
Well I finally found a joro spider in my yard. Was bound to happen sooner or later, but man are they nasty looking.
Cubanos is a little shack in the middle of a parking lot. You walk up to a window and order and stand in the middle of a parking lot waiting. It is good though.
While I appreciate the earnest reply, I think Doc Louis was making a random joke that I, frankly, didn’t get
did not realize Gato closed for good https://atlanta.eater.com/2022/8/15...taurant-opens-gato-space-candler-park-atlanta
Meeting a friend who lives in Inman Park for dinner there. Where do I go for good cocktails and an early dinner? Caveat being two children are along for the ride so vibes will be impacted.
tons of options Sotto Sotto (italian), Fritti (pizza), Barcelona (chain), Bartaco (chain), Delbar (mediterranean), Beetlecat (ford fry seafood), Char Korean. Id probably say Sotto Sotto or Delbar. Vinoteca is a good wine bar you should check out. Also have options down the beltline by Krog = Nina + Rafis, Ammazza, Boccalupo (fantastic). Youre in one of atl's restaurant hoods there.
We went to Amore e Amore last weekend for wife’s bday. Was a lot of fun and food was solid. Brought some old Barbaresco and staff was great. Was not expecting the “Seasonal” Harry Potter decor?? Place is kind of a mad house
Little Spirit has good cocktails in Inman Park but dont think its kids vibes https://www.littlespiritatl.com/
Are here this weekend, newish Peruvian place, was excellent. Basically at Highland and Ponce. https://www.tioluchos.com/menu
I like to pop in here to be reminded of how great it was to live in Atlanta when I was young before I moved to the 'burbs. Sadly I don't recognize many of the names of places you guys are enjoying.
I work in midtown and just got a work email about an active shooter in colony square in case anyone here needs a warning. Hopefully nothing and nobody was hurt. Locked our building down obviously but other than that no other information.
Make the drive in and try some of these places. I'm very happy in the burbs but try to get into town a few times a month.
Hey dudes, we have basically keyed in on two places for a AirBnB. Midtown, Atlantic Station and Old Forth Ward near the Ponce City Market. Thoughts?
