Jimmy John’s is alright, but it’s not a sub shop. I want a deli I can go to and get a monster sub. Subway barely even qualifies as food.
Was thinking of going to DAS bbq after the zoo because it's massive and convenient but the reviews are terrible. Is it worth eating?
I like The Eastern a lot as a venue and Three Taverns is great but they desperately need a good restaurant/bar to take over the Wunderkind space.
Also, had no idea shit was popping off downtown tonight. Just saw it on the news after the Eagles game.
Whoopsies is officially open. Will check back after I eat there. I love me some good prime rib though.

Because Birmingham isn’t a real city (doesn’t even have their own Eater) so they had to include them to make them feel special
"Birmingham has a better food scene than Atlanta." Check your boys over in Mnt Brook, CB. They are dumb
Lazy Betty is unfortunately not for me. I'm a picky eater. Deer and the Dove looks good but again not really my wheelhouse.. My biggest takeaway is I have to get to twisted soul. That appears to be my exact style.
Lazy Betty is awesome Deer and Dove has a bagel operation thats actually really good for ATL never really thought about the restaurant in that context, but Lyla Lilla wine program is strong.
theyre equal for me, but i do emerald city far more often esp for their grilled cheese. Fairmount in mtl are some of the best ever I have had.
I was at Summerhill Saturday night at like 5:15. It was dead. Zero customers at how crispy or hot dog Pete's. Didn't see many people anywhere. Hope those businesses are doing ok.
Haven’t been to the one at the Works but I feel confident in declaring Cubanos ATL as the best Cuban sandwich in the metro area. Great coffee too.
Had one at the Works the other day. It is very good indeed The little empanada stall right by it is also very good.
All the food I’ve had at the works has been really good. Just a little pricey but that comes with the territory l reckon.
