Use this thread to post bad calls in any sport, but especially football
gonna go ahead & get this out of the way
/thread. Thanks for playing everyone.
does it really need to be posted?
Any offensive holding on Alabama this year will be a horrible call. They don't do that.
Speaking of holding, y'all held Clemson to under 50 points. So, that's a hold y'all committed.
Arkansas played Clemson?
You really a saints fan?
Saints home playoff game during the weekend....natty on Monday? Could that happen?
We've played in the Sugar Bowl before and after NFL Playoff games before. I'm not sure what you're asking, but yes that's what I want.
By the far the worst call I've ever seen.
Such a weird myth that people actually believe. The opposite, Bama opponents being called for holding, is the real rarity.
That dot way at the top, that's Alabama.
Wouldn't be nfl season without some questionable calls
And that's from 2017, the year there were 3 games with 0 sacks.
It shows 2012-2017.
Since 2012, Alabama has drawn a holding once every 260 plays. That is nearly 2.5 times the average.
It’s been like 10 years, and the personal foul against Arkansas vs Florida giving Tebow the win still makes me salty.
Came to post this. And it wasn't just that call. So many bad calls and they even moved the first down marker once. There is a great video of it but can't find it. Also remember after game lsufreek or someone made a gif of Tebow knocking ice cream cone out of our mascot's hand
Also fail mary for packers. Hurt even worse I had $100 on game
The entire officiating crew got suspended the next week. That bad.
wasn't that also the game some Arky DB got so faked out by Chris Rainey that he accidentally kicked the ball out of Rainey's hands for a fumble?
I know this is about college and pro, but a quick story. I used to referee little league football. Well one day it was the playoffs in October and super cold, so me and a couple of buddies brought vodka for our alcohol to keep warm.
We get to our 3rd game and almost all of a fifth and there was a call with multiple offsetting penalities. Our white hat decided to walk every penalty off individually, so he walked ten yards one way for a hold, five yards backwards for offside, fifteen yards back the other way for dpi, and so on for 5 or 6 different penalties.
I'd like to say it was alcohol, but he's also really dumb./coolstory
ACC refs cost UNC 1 second and the opportunity to throw a no-chance Hail Mary this weekend. Have to make sure to put out a statement apologizing to a Tobacco Road school for such a massive mistake.
Fuck this entire game and everyone involved with it and everybody everywhere
Opinion here? The QBs dad/coach got picked up on a harassment charge after he threatened to kill the official.
To me looks like shoulder and elbow/arm to the chest.
this call was called on a baylor player but they marked it off against tech
This was one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen
I mean this was called OPI today. NFL has shitty officiating in general.
Fans are to blame for why the NFL has such horrible officiating
It’s clear as day. The officiating community is pissed that their abilities have been undermined by allowing the ability to challenge PI. They don’t care how blatant some of these aren’t, they don’t want to change the call and admit they were wrong.
Robot refs can't come soon enough
What would be neat would be a chipped ball that has telemetry so you can get a precise (+\- 1” maybe) location and time stamp so that spots, sticks, and ball carrier TDs can be locked in. If there’s a question you just check the video for the time stamp where the knee touched or whatever and the data gives you the ball spot relative to the first down, goal line, pylon, sideline, whatever.
Block or charge

Evidently the offensive player drew the defender into the guy with the ball
College officiating is a joke
