First episode is out today. Someone tell me if it’s good but please do not spoil the part about Brad Pitt’s wife.
Not sure if we’re doing spoilers in this thread but Spoiler he’s an unaltered, normal aging clone, per AotC, so I think it just has to do with being eaten and then enslaved
That makes sense. I was just guessing and have no clue but he looked rough so that would make sense with it not being very long from being eaten to taking the throne right?
Or those pods are specifically designed to heal his DNA, would make sense to have it because it could heal soilder clones faster too
That's what it looks like to me. But Bobba is absolutely an unaltered clone. I'd guess the issues he's having stem from the acid in the Saarlaac pit.
Spoiler: if you don’t want anything even hinted at if you’ve liked seeing animated characters coming to live action, you’re in for more treats toodles
Really liked the first half of the episode. Started to lose interest throughout the sand people flashback.
For sure. Hopefully its not just setting up the sand people to come in and save the day in a final showdown
I’m much more in after this episode. I do think they’re basically doing Dune-tooine but I have no issue with that.
It's definitely giving off that Western vibe from the tattooine episodes of Mando mixed with that level of duneish politics.
Enjoyed this episode more than last week. I'm guessing/hoping next week wraps up the Tusken Raider flashbacks. Heard a pretty big character spoiler that I'm kinda wishing I hadn't.
Taking control of the spice routes is showing a clear path to how he became the replacement to Jabba. And fuck the mayor
I personally really liked that episode. It gives a really cool backstory as to how Boba returned. It also plays really well into his return in The Mandelorian. I also appreciated the time they took in showing the Sand Peoples culture and lifestyle. I like those little details of how/why they live how they do and what they do to survive. I also feel like it gives deeper meaning as to why Boba would be more inclined to take over the Jabba palace and run his gang. He likely feels a connection to the planet now.
I don't know why y'all liked it. I thought that was the worst episode/movie of star wars I've ever seen
between him and the great UF alum Stephen Root, this was a great week for random well known actors showing up in completely random and seemingly unimportant roles.
