sarma, meyers + chang, the beehive, and north square oyster are all really good places ive been in the past couple weeks thought north square oyster's lobster rolls were just as good as neptune tbh - though they are smaller
Alex Lahey kicking off her US tour at Great Scott tomorrow night Lol at ticket prices to the Warriors vs Celtics game on Thursday night
where do people go for breakfast around these parts? Thornton's Restaurant on Huntington is probably the best I have had so far but the service was so slow it will be hard to go back
We’re at Harpoon... looking like Yankee Lobster if we’re walking or possibly Toro if we’re getting car. Also, Taques, just conversed with a local lass who swears by Meyers+Chang. Next time, friend.
Mike and Pattys by Tufts Med. It's a walk up. Breakfast sandwich with fresh squeezed OJ. A little pricey but worth it.
BC hockey at Northeastern tonight and BC also playing UConn at Fenway in FB this is such a good sports town, aside from all the Patriots fans

Will I be cold if I end up in Boston the week before Christmas? I have been a ton over the last 2 years, but the closest to winter was the week before Halloween last year.
pack a coat that is decent at blocking the wind. it starts whipping off the water and feels like a wind tunnel if you're anywhere near downtown. that said... we've had plenty of nice days around xmas over the past few years.
I usually spend at least one night in Cambridge. I was in Chicago 2 weeks ago so I felt the wind there.
JUST ANNOUNCED: Japanese Breakfast @ The Sinclair on June 2nd tickets on sale Wednesday December 6th @ 10 AM
Her last three shows at The Sinclair all sold out. The number of cute Asians at those shows is amazing
Coolidge Corner Theatre is so awesome. And I guess there is a winter beer garden at Trillium https://www.boston.com/culture/beer/2017/11/17/trillium-beer-garden-roslindale
http://bostonlandingdevelopment.com/sports-and-wellness/warrior-ice-arena/ public skating times available at Warrior Ice Arena, where the Bruins practice. Saturday from 12-2, I am down
this site is awesome. You can see all the construction projects in town sorted by neighborhood http://www.bostonplans.org/projects/development-projects
it's a cool venue with a few things I don't like. They sell out tons of shows and often have lines stretching down Comm Ave because people get there so early for certain acts. There are spots inside where a row of columns can obstruct your views so I recommend getting as close to the stage as possible. Security had me empty out my pockets for one show and they have people patrol the crowd to make sure people aren't smoking. I saw someone get thrown out of a sold out Alvvays show for vaping which I thought was really lame Great Scott, Middle East, The Sinclair and Brighton Music Hall > but it's still cool
oh yeah. It's between the western edge of BU's campus and Allston so there are tons of spots within a 10 minute walk and you would be a short Lyft ride into the Back Bay or Fenway neighborhoods where there are also tons of places (also a stone's throw from Brookline where there are some really sweet spots). I would recommend walking up Comm Ave away from downtown till it meets Brighton Ave. Take Brighton Ave for a few minutes and then turn left onto Harvard Ave. You will pass sooooo many restaurants along the way and then you can loop your way back onto Comm Ave and make your way back to Paradise the closest spots that I would recommend are Brown Sugar Cafe (has really solid Thai food and is like a block away) and all the Asian restaurants inside Super 88 Market/Foodcourt at Packard's Corner maybe .4 miles away (granted that is not the place to drink). But again, take that walk up Comm Ave into Allston and onto Harvard Ave and you will find a shit load of places that will catch your eye
someone a while back mentioned Mala as a really good spot in Allston. That would be like a 7 minute walk from Paradise Silhouette Lounge is a great dive bar to drink in after. Hopewell Bar and Kitchen is also really close to Paradise, right on Comme Ave by Harvard Ave. It's a great place to drink, socialize and eat
I go to Boston a lot for work. Favorite Boston story I have is a completely fucked up Justin Bieber sat down next to me at the Tam. Solid dude
I took a sick day today because why not. It was so chill everywhere with all the American students gone. Went shopping on Newbury St and ended up with a seat on my Green Line train home running out of Copley around 5 PM. That never happens
I walked around all over Huntington Ave/Copley Square and Allston yesterday. It was bad ass. Got a two-day work week. Easily over a foot of snow on BU and Northeastern campuses. Highest tide swell in the harbor since 1978 winter
Been seeing pics from family that live in JP and Melrose. Looks awful. Any idea when it will thaw out?
today I went to the RMV by Haymarket to get a Mass license, transfer a title to MA, register my truck and get plates. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was. In TN and WY you gotta go to multiple places to do all that. Here it was a one stop shop and very well organized. Just make sure you have all the required documents and you shouldn't be there more than an hour or so https://www.leafly.com/news/politic...nothing-has-changed-after-shift-in-fed-policy "Massachusetts cannabis regulators say “nothing has changed” for them after a shift in official US policy toward legal cannabis. The Cannabis Control Commission said Thursday it will continue to fulfill the will of voters by implementing the state law that allows for the sale and adult use of recreational cannabis."
I did the same thing in TN in an hour. Think it just depends on the county. Knox had their shit together.
46 best new restaurants in town http://www.bostonglobe.com/magazine...restaurants/25y3TRvO62bGSbTHuMX2JN/story.html
guys I cannot stress enough how much you need to go and watch Northeastern's men's ice hockey team play. Adam Gaudette and Dylan Dikura are 100% gonna be playing in the NHL in a few years. Gaudette leads the nation in scoring and Sikura is top five mentioned it earlier but Matthews Arena is college hockey's equivalent of Butler's Hinkle Fieldhouse. It is so historic and old, worth checking out on its own. But this team is fucking good. They are right there with BC atop Hockey East it's really easy to walk to games from Hynes or Copley and both walks are awesome
MMA PPV event in town tonight and a Pats playoff game tomorrow? at some of the people I saw on the T today Preoccupations at Brighton Music Hall on April 18th (!!!!!!!)
