When the pick was made I didn't like it (not addressing defensive deficiencies) but I'm ok with it now. If that guy is there at 19 go get him and better hope you did your homework correctly for the later rounds.
Elated. We lost, but go back and watch him in our last couple regular season Ohio State games. It sounds like he's healthy. If so, you got a good one.
He’s a top 10 pick if not for the hip surgery. If he’s able to make a full recovery (and everything reported says that’s the case) he’s a clear #1 corner. Great value at 53 and a likeable kid off the field too which makes it easy to cheer for him.
poor man’s tent mcduffie he’s an absolute competitor. He was not recruited in high school. Chip on the shoulder kid who is a phenomenal athlete
incredibly smart db with effortless Athletic ability but nothing elite except for football iq I think I could work for espn now édit- not a great tackler
Of the corners in this class, Hairston has tape my getting torched by the Texas receivers. Morrison held his own against elite receivers like MHJ and completely eliminated anyone else. Then again, our db coach seems to be able to find elite CB play in the couch cushions so there is that possible factor
I meant more of who is left whose name has been discussed with the bucs. I don’t keep up with any pre draft stuff jack sawyer is good but feel like the value is with the LB at this point idk
Welp, I think I'm gonna cheer for this guy harder than anyone in our draft class. I hope everyone dusted their house and aren't in the middle of cutting onions
There’s loads of content similar to this from his time at ND. Comes from a good family of all top tier athletes—definite captain type guy. Went after Dan Wolken after the championship game for asking out of line questions to the CB who gave up final TD. Great pick.
Let's hope! 4 picks in and I actually like our draft a lot when you pair it with what we did in free agency. Got someone who can step in as WR2 if Godwin isn't ready/gets hurt again, a CB that could be a day 1 starter if his hip is back to 100%, a nickel that fixes 2 positions by allowing us to move Tykee Smith to SS, and an Edge to rotate with Reddick/Yaya and hopefully develop into a quality starter.
I just assumed they'd want him to have 2 years starting experience bc they know how helpful it'll be for the league.
youre dealing in reality the manning machine is like F1 while the sanders machine is the Busch series. Get ready for an absolute onslaught
Kinda wild how Jason Licht has come to be regarded as one of the better NFL GMs after his rough start during the Jameis years. He was getting a lot of love from the national media after the draft.
The Aguayo pick and him not becoming prime Justin Tucker (minus sexual assault stuff or whatever not trying to minimize just saying) was the peak of the criticism. Bucs do have a crazy number of drafted players as starters relative to the rest of the league which is full credit to Licht. I'm not pandering to FSU fans but with regard to any debate for the 2 that year Winston over Mariotta was the right move. Also not trying to antagonize anyone but Vita Vea was the right pick over anyone.
That whole 2016 draft class was an unmitigated disaster. He's come a long way from trading up in the 2nd for a kicker.
