I put the Bucs fan of back in as soon as Jameis left town. Had it in there all title run, so really, the franchise has me to thank for the Super Bowl. I still live in the Jax area and will continue rooting for the local team.
He asked my daughter out in class once. She said he is a nice guy but she was still with her boyfriend at the time. If you want to know football stuff he was a pretty good linebacker for us.
Britt might also push Minter, though Minter was very solid against WFT in the playoffs when White was out
He's pretty much an old school, run stopping ILB. Plays downhill, and looks for the big hit. He tore some ligaments in his thumb against UGA, and finished the game even though we were getting killed. He's a leader and has that warrior mentality, but he's limited athletically as he does have stiff hips and kind of slow. Mullen exposed him in coverage for 2 TDs when we played in Gainesville back in 2019. He's pretty much a liability in coverage if he doesn't get his hands on you. It's hard to see him ever being a starting LB but he's really smart and physical so he'll probably find a role somewhere.
There's as many or more people at this preseason game than at any regular season game during the last 10 years.
Game 1 takeaways: Tryon looked good against backups and Trask made some really nice throws that were dropped by 4th string WRs, but probably caught by any of our top 6.
Just got home after leaving at half. Woooooof at that "football" game. Joe Tryon is good. All I took away
Bullshit call on the INT for a TD for the Titans.. if anything it's incomplete or fumble, but became an INT on Trask. But it's preseason, all I care about watching is Tryon
