yeah but I feel like jameis is giving maybe the biggest strongest receiver in the NFL a chance to make a play against a smaller guy (as he should) and he just hung him out to dry with pretty shitty effort

The whole team is in a shitty place mentally it seems. Back to back to back procedure penalties on a punt, 7 sacks, OJ's drops, the whole secondary etc. We just look so poorly coached at times. We can't draft a qb and put him behind that OL or he'll end up like David Carr, something has to be done there

 

He'd have to play like that every game here on out for us to get rid of him. He's getting franchise tagged at worst.

Agree. If the long term plan is to develop a young qb you still need someone to start while they acclimate and we hopefully build the OL to a point where they have a shot to succeed
