I just watched 30 minutes of highlights on Tyler Johnson, and I love him. his arm length and hands are certainly a concern, but his physicality and bodying DBs is phenomenal. Reminds me of what Keyshawn could do going through the middle of the field. Kid might eat his rookie year with Brady dumping it off to him on those short routes.
Spoiler Nebraska live in Omaha went to Nebraska Cincinnati aunt is high up in the admin there and I talked about walking on there(mainly because of who my aunt was not because I was good at football.) Braves just watched a ton of games growing up in TBS, won the series when I first got interested so locked it in. Just always liked the blazers. My peewee football team was the Bucs. And then the Penguins doesn’t show up, but my buddy got me into hockey via penguins hockey in Nebraska it’s just kind random with who your favorite pro teams are etc.
Decided I was going to pick a soccer/futbol team to cheer for. Went though all the premier league teams and looked for the one with the most Americans.
Jameis to the Saints. Can't imagine a better landing spot for him from a coaching and potential starting (next year) standpoint.
Wirfs - A Winfield Jr. - A Vaughn - C+ Johnson - A+ Davis - B Russell - C Calais - C Really liked the Wirfs, Winfield Jr., and Johnson picks. Could’ve done better than Vaughn (Moss). Like Davis and think he’ll make the team. Other two are coin flips to make the team.
Half the coverage will be Jameis on the sideline even though he's irrelevant to the actual game. It's going to be annoying as hell
This is simultaneously the best season to be a Bucs fan and the worst season to be a first time season ticket holder.
I’m assuming they cut Vaughn, but that still leaves them with 4 RBs McCoy, and fournette don’t play ST. I don’t remember rojo playing ST either. ogunbowale is a really good ST player. Thinking Vaughan and rojo get cut
Can't imagine they cut Rojo after he showed pretty substantial improvement last year and has 2 seasons left on a rookie deal
This is going to be fun no matter what happens. Watch it come down to missing kicks because my teams are cursed by missed kicks
It’ll be Vaughn and Campbell imo. Apparently Vaughn hasn’t done much of anything in camp. Agreed that Ogunbowale’s special teams play will save his job.
Didn’t Vaughn have COVID as wel? Would be quite a shitty start to his NFL career if he gets cut as well.
Might be able to stash him on the practice squad for a year if we think he's got potential. Wish we would have taken Gallimore from OU in rd3
Think they’ll cut McCoy, and try to sneak the rookies through waivers onto practice squad vaughn has had a really bad camp, also was sick rojo/fournette/ogunawale are the three rbs for game 1
Dare is a good out of the backfield I thought. So you can use him on passing downs, with Fournette and RoJo sharing the rock...?
LF and McCoy had over 100 combined receptions last year. Not sure we need Dare in that role. STs would be his saving grace
Is Tampa the most impacted city by COVID from a sports standpoint? - Wrestlemania (which brings $100+ million in tourism money) was canceled. - Lightning are the favorite to win the Stanley Cup, but they're playing in Canada in front of no one. No big watch parties, no parade if we win. - Rays have the best record in the AL, 2nd best in MLB. Playing in front of no one (normal) and getting no publicity. - Bucs sellout (I think?) season tickets and have the most preseason hype in 20 years. First 2 games have no fans. Rest of season likely has limited capacity. - Superbowl in Tampa is in danger of having major tourism/attendance restrictions.
Rosen to practice squad. I’ll take it and if he actually pans out after being behind Brady, great. If not, oh well
