started watching this week and already through 6 episodes. Never been much interested in the gossip about the royals but this is high quality TV interested to see how many seasons they take this. I've met Capt Mark Phillips (Princess Anne's first husband) through my wife's equestrian circles. Guy has lead some kind of life; would be something to see part of it played out on screen.
I’m familiar with the new Phillip from the show Outlander and Rome. He had some big time dental work done in between those shows because Brutus had some fucked up teeth. E toothbrush Brute?
I can't even fathom how legendary Prince Phillip really is thanks to how safeguarded the Royal Family is. We probably know less than 5% of the awesome things about him. My favorite story about Phillip is how he was the key to answering the question regarding whether the bodies that had been discovered and widely believed to be the murdered Romanov's were the real deal. Phillip is related to the Tsarina (she was his great aunt and oddly enough were practically raised by the same woman because Alix was orphaned and Phil's parents both batshit insane). Thanks to their mitochondrial DNA, they were able to confirm the match.
A lot of this was filmed in my hometown, but I haven't watched yet. One of the episodes this season is about the Aberfan disaster which happened in the next town over to us.
For the first episode or two I wasn't fan of Tobias Menzies as Philip because he’s so different than Matt Smith, but he’s so damn good in this role.
Took a while to get through the first half but I loved this season. Both Wales episodes were fantastic.
If William & Kate watched, I bet the part where Princess Anne had sex with a man twice her age as a teenager rustled some royal jimmies. Their daughter is slated to be the next Princess Royal after all.
Fuck the Queen’s mother for being all uppity about Camila not being aristocratic or pure enough. That’s pretty rich coming from the first woman who wasn’t already a princess in her own right to marry into the royal family...ever.
Finally watched season 3. Exquisite. The casting is out of this world. Colman lived up to every expectation, Carter was borne to play Margaret. More more more.
dolores fucking umbridge to play the Queen on one hand she does seem like a good Elizabeth, on the other hand dolores umbridge was the fucking worst
god the actress who is playing Diana has my heart also didnt realize Gillian Anderson got the Margaret role. She is good in the Netflix Sex Education show.
I've watched this 5 times. As great as this show is, and how epic season 1 was, this looks like it can blow all that out of the water Was that explosion the Falklands war? Also, here for Prince Phillip's comments as always. Should get even better as they turn into creepy old man comments

This show is just so perfect. Through 2 I’d watch a spin-off of Phillip and Margaret thatcher’s husband
