Did our thread get lost? If so, lets go AD
Hey! We won a game! How about that, huh?!
Great to have Tony back throwing footballs to me!
I finally got to start you and Tony together in fantasy and your hook up for that TD was sweet. If you could go ahead and have a TOesque thanksgiving game and get 4 of those bad boys against the panthers, I will buy you another monkey to be friends with your current pet monkey
whoops double post
Collins, Jones, and eventually Gregory are gonna be really good players for us.
I still don't like Terrance Williams.
Dmac isn't perfect but he's playing pretty good right now. He looked really good picking up blitzes today.
I miss Lance Dunbar.
I miss Scandrick.
I hope we don't give Hardy a big contract, even without the baggage I don't think he's worth 10-13 mil a year.
Tyron Smith.... not sure whats going on there.
Anything for another pet monkey
Agree on all those rookies. We made a killing in this draft
T Will is a pretty decent #2 but has no ability to play #1 and needs tony in there to make a difference. With tony in, he can be an 800 yard 8 TD guy every year
Love Dmac thus far. Also miss Dunbar. I watched the replay of that final drive against the giants week 1 again. He was such a good weapon in our offense.
Scandrick's absence hurts for sure. I think we may need to get another corner in the first couple rounds next year if we let Carr go.
Man, Tyron had a play today that was the worst I have ever seen him get beat. That said, hes still top 5 at his position and I wouldnt give him up for the world. I am sure he will return to form, but yeah I too was scratching my head on that one
Brandon Graham ate his lunch.
Dunbar was doing work in the passing game.
Claiborne and Carr could be gone. I liked Sterling Moore, guy just competed his ass off.
If we can get Claiborne back for super cheap i would keep him. He has played pretty solidly this year. Totally agree on Moore
I think I heard that Claiborne is ready to move on.
He's having a good year, somebody will over pay for him. Probably Philly.
Well then we definitely need to look at CB in the draft then. I would like to use our first rounder for a QB to groom behind romo or a RB but defense all the way through the draft wouldnt hurt my feelings
Big fan of Turbin in limited snaps.
We just need four more Byron Joneses for the secondary
Love that kid. Hes gonna be sick for years to come
So looking at the Giants schedule, we really need them to drop games to Carolina, Minnesota, and one of Miami/Washington/the Jets. If they go 3-3 from here on out, we have a shot. A long shot, but a shot. I think we will know exactly how good we are after Thursday. The Panthers have been killing people. Weirdly enough, Vegas has us as the favorite, which makes me even more nervous. I would be so psyched if we somehow pulled this one out though
Biggest off season pull will be keeping will mcclay.
Amazing this team can (and probably will) win the division after losing 7 strait
I dont know if I will give it "probably will" until I see us beat carolina but it is incredible we have any chance at all.
In the history of the Dallas Cowboys, every team that has won 6 games in a row during a season has made the playoffs. We more than likely have to do just that so we shall see.
I was at the game :3
Randle is a fucking idiot. So glad we got rid of his ass
i think we go 4-2 to close the year
yall beat carolina and things will get very interesting. lol at the "probably will win the east" tho
Also hopefully the pats have the division wrapped up so we wont face Brady
We already played the Patriots champ.
Damn, thought that was week 16. Nvm
Not having Dunbar and Scandrink definitely hurt. Very surprised and pleased with the play of Claiborne this season, don't know why it has taken him this long to play good. Today's game is HUGE for this team. Lots of moves will needed to made this offseason and we need to hit on the draft again
Romo was awesome in the first half today.
Old fashioned ass whooping. With Romo possibly hurt, does Jerry tank for the draft?
See you guys in February, we can discuss what we'll do with our top 5 pick.
Damn shame we didn't give Romo team to compete with in his prime. Instead we gave money to players like Roy Williams and Miles Austin.
I still don't like McClain, and I know he played decent today but the sumbitch is flaky as fuck.
When will lawrence make a play?
Got to stop running on every single first down. We get real predictable to often.
Probably paying Romo 20 million next season. That contract will bite us the next few years.
This season sucked, so much potential gone to shit.
Fuck this gay earth.
Where we need immediate difference makers:
S, WR2, DT, DE, RB, KR/PR
Need to start planning for life AR now too
That Crawford contract already looks like shit, hardy didn't show up on the stat sheet yesterday whatsoever. We still need an overhaul on the DL pretty bad. Lawrence hasn't done much, hardy has been good at times but is bad against the run and seems to disappear at times, and we get no disruption from the interior. All things you need in this scheme, as well as an elite safety
CBs I think we'll be fine once we get scandrick back and tell Carr to kick rocks. Scandrick, Mo, Jones, and either a rookie or FA would be just fine
Really, really need a better WR2. Williams is okay but seems to have peaked, and he has terrible hands. Beasley is pretty damn good in the slot. Both dez and Beasley would greatly benefit from another WR to draw the D
RB is a tough one. DMC has been pretty good as of late, but how can you count on that. Turbin seems like just another average guy. We'll get Dunbar back but he's more of an accessory. Need a solid guy here
OL is fine, obviously
Our biggest need is going to be DE.
We won't resign Hardy and Lawrence doesn't seem to be worth shit. You have to have a pass rusher to win in this defense.
We need a LB. we need more depth at WR. We will probably need a CB. A mid round RB would be great.
And if we are picking top 10 and a QB who we think is an elite prospect (not just the best of this bunch) falls to us, we should probably pull the trigger.
I'm not big on wasting a pick on a midround QB. Go big or go home at that spot
My reasoning behind taking a qb has nothing to do with my thoughts on romo being able to win, and everything to do with the fact that you don't get many opportunities to take a franchise level QB (I don't know if this draft even has one), and romo breaking his collarbone twice in 3 months can't be good for his longevity
Yeah, you have to take a qb if there is one you rate highly this draft. Give him a couple of years to learn behind Tony and have him ready to take the reigns when Romo inevitably gets banged up. That Christian Hackenberg is a can't miss prospect IMO.
Wouldnt mind Cook from MSU. The guy from Memphis looks like another good target. My Dad wants to wait on Deshaun (Die Clemson Fans)
Deshaun will be good for the 6 minutes he stays healthy
I wish i could be one of those houston texans faggots who lives to see the cowboys fail. I have friends who are texans "fans" who really dont even watch the texans and just watch every cowboy game and pray for injuries and collapses. That existence, while aggie-like and laughable, must be great these days. This season has just been God himself fucking us in the ass. I wish i could hate this team
So we've got at least a glimmer of hope at backup QB. Dak looked great last night. Lucky Whitehead, our team's undisputed Snapchat MVP, certainly solidified his position last night. Hopefully we get to see some Zeke soon :)
Also, we should cut Geoff Swaim. Dude blows
Dak looked good against vanilla D, but it is encouraging nonetheless. I wish we would groom someone rather than trying to get an UDFA and has beens.
Well i think they drafted Dak to do just that. He has probably 2 seasons to watch Romo. Shit it could be worse. We could have done what Houston did and spend 70 million for a guy like Osweiler who is currently shitting the bed against a team that went 5-11 last year lol
I'd kick myself in the dick if we gave Osweiler that kinda money.
7 million dollars per career touchdown pass lol
Was happy with the pick of Dak and he looked really good his first game but im definitely taking it with a grain of salt. Dez looked really good, can't wait to see Zeke of course
I mean that's the same amount you guys pay tony per start
