My question is what strings does jerry have attached to this job? Like is he interviewing these guys and saying "hey you get to be the coach but Wonder Boy Kellen is staying and we are paying Dak the GDP of a developing nation" ?

If it is McCarthy its certainly not the splash hire that the fans were hoping for. I guess im thankful it won't be Josh McDaniels, Fischer or Marvin Lewis but man, talk about a low standard

 

I'd be ok with Marvin Lewis as DC.

 

I'm already talking myself into this hire because he won't have noted malcontent and locker room cancer Aaron Rodgers undermining his tenure here

I don’t understand the McCarthy hate. I’m excited. I guess I’ve bought into the whole reinventing himself thing. He’s a brilliant offensive mind imo.

I’ve watched McCarthy coached teams for a long time in the NFC North, personally think he is garbage with no game management chops.

I don't know much about Nolan but saw a stat his defenses were top 10 in takeaways 11 seasons.
