I still listen to some of the LOUR. I end up just listening to music or a couple of other non-sports things instead on my drives.
The problem when Dan is out and Stu isn't is then Stu drives the show, which his "character" absolutely shouldn't be doing. I may as well turn on Colin Cowherd or Mike the Mad Dog or some other stupid take show. Without the balance of Dan driving the show, it's just annoying - doesn't really matter who the guest host is.
Caught a little today and it was unwatchable. Ramona Shelburne is the fucking worst. She spits out a “like” every 5 words. Sounds like a 14 year old girl.
Gotta disagree on Roy as Drew Gooden. Maybe Eric Snow for him, because he really doesn't do much at this point other than react to fines and penalty box punishments.
Force fed Guillermo is always lackluster. Actually he’s pretty lackluster unless Alyson is making fun of him. Pipo is gold tho.
I used to like Spain, in general and on the show. She’s unlistenable anymore. Of all the guest hosts they’ve force fed us over the years, I still can’t believe Katie Nolan didn’t catch on. She probably gets the show the most, is hot and is actually funny. Sometimes I wonder who makes these decisions.

Spain only has value as the Commish of the Bucket of death. Everything else, hard pass. I will fight anyone who hates on Mina Kimes though.
Spain tries to hard to prove she gets the show. One example - They did an Exploring Sarah once on the mystery crate and she spent the entire time whispering like the guys were. The point of the bit is that the person being explored talks normally. But she like tries to prove she gets all of the bits and she's "in" and it just doesn't come off well. Like she needs to be part of the shipping container. She's very good interviewing people and I've enjoyed some of her own podcasts when she just has those conversations but on Dan's show she tries to hard.
How so? I don't get to listen anymore now that I don't drive much I've never found Sarah entertaining on the radio, but she seems like she'd be cool IRL. This may be a hot take but if she wasn't super woke I wonder if Dan would try to promote her as much as he does.
Bucket of death is one of my favorite things. However, we are clearly at the point where everyone despises it and none of the punishments ever get completed. It has lost its shine for sure.

Yeah dan being back is awesome. Mina is one of the best things espn has produced. Her daily podcast Is fantastic and she’s great on the show.
I couldn’t disagree with that any more than I do. However, I’m a renaissance man and I welcome people to research all topics and make up their own minds. For the record, I have stated that she’s a good writer. My thoughts on her as it relates to my favorite radio show are wholly different.
Interesting how Dan has decided to approach the Myles Garrett situation. He'll get on his soap box about far more minor things someone might say but lulz at what happened last night. Btw I say this as a fan of the show. Just...funny what Dan decides to be up in arms about sometimes.
I haven't listened to today yet - but it sounds like another example of when he just has a more-correct (imo) perspective on things when it comes to sports. Usually he will get on a soap box about stuff that maybe deserves more attention - but laughs when something is overblown. Personally I expected him to downplay the reaction of last night - but not necessarily downplay the act itself. Not sure if that's how it played out on radio.
