Best documentary I have seen in a long time. I don't even know how it's possible for Iovine to have been involved with that many great artists
Cant believe this thread is only 12 posts long. Started and finished last night. It was awesome. I had never heard of Iovine before. Only thing I wish they wouldve gone more in depth on was Dre's leaving Death Row. You could tell there was no way anyone was going to talk about Suge like they wanted on camera though. Snoop, Dre, and even Diddy all held back when talking about Suge.
I didn't know the stuff about Patti Smith doing one of Springsteen's songs. Then I didn't know Iovine was behind Black Eyed Peas and Nelly Furtado and all those pop/hip hop mish mashes. Also came out of it with a newfound understanding of how unstable Tupac was.
Suge definitely has some bodies. Snoop kinda showed how he felt about Suge when talking about the source awards show, of course he escalated things that night as well.
