These leaks are coming from agents trying to get DW4 out of Houston and front offices trying to bring the price way down
the last tweet in that thread is critical. I just don’t know how you structure it unless it’s all or nothing type of deal
has houston sent him home/suspended him or do they just intend to have him on the sidelines and start someone way worse at football? i'm confused how, if he's not suspended or sent home, he's not starting in two weeks.
fair, but surely there's a reporter from espn or the athletic or the paper that has asked what the deal was with watson
I took him 9-10th rounds in all my keeper leagues. Either that or the 5th WR for some team. Hedging my bet.
They take the risk of him not playing by trading for him obviously. But it sounds like the texans have received offers and rejected them. They’re just going to keep him for no reason and light the money on fire instead
I mean what exactly do you think the best ‘real’ offer is right now? Because I don’t think anyone’s trading for him right now unless it’s for a tube of ivermectin and a bag of dicks.
I doubt they have any attractive offers. I get at this point just keeping him, seeing if his legal stuff gets cleared, and then trade him. Doing it now is selling at his lowest value.
Ummm we need to keep him until we get a good deal. I do not care if we burn money and have his ass sit. He’s the key to picks and rebuilding.
If you are still keeping him on your roster and league isn't suspending him I'm kinda confused on why you don't play him.
True. I guess eventually he will get cleared or go to jail so might as well get something if you can.
The clearing price for Deshaun right now is like a second and a third round pick. The idea that he is ever going to be worth a meaningful haul of picks and thus the Texans should hold out is questionable. What level of exoneration has to occur for teams to be like “well he’s a freak with some sexual issues, who makes 40 million dollars a year and hamstrings a salary cap, hasn’t played in 2 years, probably won’t outrun this for 3-5 years, and we have to give up the most draft capital ever, but he’s so beyond a doubt innocent that we can live with that”? I mean I’d hope that Panthers would lol, but IDK.
IIRC they want 3 1’s, multiple 2’s and multiple starters for him They seem pretty set on keeping him until someone meets that asking price…if ever
They can't. Which again comes back to they should trade him. The NFL should step in because this is embarrassing for them. Beyond him getting provided with Instagram prostitutes.
dude poor Tyrod lol. always ends up in some cursed QB situation. least he's been in the league for a decade and made some decent scratch.
