Gear score 458 checking in. Any of you guys who fuck with marksman rifles, find the snitch and unlock the secret vendor. She’s selling the pinprick sniper rifle for like 5k and it looks p sexy. I’m running demolition and rolling LMG/SMG so I haven’t used it yet.
Also, if any of you guys are playing on PS4 you guys should join our clan. We’ve got a group currently of about 4 or 5 that really grind out but we are having trouble meeting the clan goals. Definitely some solid players in the group with a couple of us that have tons of shooter raid experience Also we are very patient
Jumped from Level 20 to Level 25 this weekend. Goal is to get to 30 by the upcoming weekend so the real fun can begin. What specialization did every choose first? Is there one thats if clear and far away the best to start with or is it really just up to your play style?
I’d steer clear of sharpshooter unless you are a really good shot and like using rifles. The other two are really user friendly
Also, probably going to fuck with the Hunter Mask bosses some tonight. I'm sure the Crimson mask will go well with your Kangol bucket hat TrustyPatches https://www.gamesradar.com/the-division-2-masks-hunters-locations/
I’d do the strongholds as soon as you get to 26. Just because the side missions carryover, which gives you more endgame activities = endgame loot >>> level 30 story loot.
I’m hesitant of buying or crafting anything in the endgame. I know that weapon/armor gear score can improve with recalibration, but doesn’t early endgame gear basically become worthless once you get to 400+ gear score? That’s what I’m thinking even with recalibration the few guns I recalibrated at 275 I got a better AR/MR shortly after. Basically kinda curious at what gearscore should you really start collecting gear and weapons for different loadouts? Only when gear score is maxed? That’s how it ended up in D1. Hit 276 or whatever the max ended up being and then acquire your top guns of each category and drop $$$ to modify talents and what not because that’s the best version of those guns you’re gonna get.
Big fan of sharpshooter here. That Tac90 fucks. 425K HS dmg yesterday. Was taking out non-tank elites in 2 shots. Works best with group play esp if you have a LMG guy
Oh I definitely think it’s viable and probably needed when some of the tougher stuff drops, it’s just the skill tree in general seems kind of meh. I really wish they’d add another weapon buff to it even if it’s one that’s on another tree.
Also as of two days ago +% accuracy bonuses on mods etc is broken. It takes on stability’s +/-% and any +/- accuracy are disregarded. YouTube video shows it in depth with spray charts. Tried it myself a few min ago and at least with this AR it’s definitely true. Did a few -acc +sta mods and my accuracy and stability were both +55% on the gear menu. Which I’m assuming those #s directly go into whatever algorithm dictates your hits. Basically just +stability an AR as high as you can (the green bar doesn’t represent max) and have a laser gun
So black tusk doesn’t affect side missions? If I do that 3rd stronghold, then the side missions stay the same and the rest changes I assume.
I just found a world event that said it was a blockade, but I still don’t have the campus unlocked. Only left I have to do is 2 strongholds. Roosevelt Island and Tidal Basin Edit: I don’t even have a campus icon, nor do I ever remember going there. Idk if I should replay all the story missions in that area, or try joining somebody else’s game who has it unlocked? I don’t have any missions left to do.
Endgame loot isn’t an issue btw. Even if you do everything before you hit 450 everything that drops at that point outside of field caches are 450
This game has me hooked. Right now I just want to get this work day over with so I can figure out how to get my Campus to show up. Tried user Goose recommendation of sticking my dick in the slot; didn't work.
Had to hack my way into ththe Campus to get it unlocked. You can roll through the container blocking the door.
My endgame campus is red and I can walk right in can’t fast travel bc red and says tusks have it locked down but everything inside the campus seems normal. Helping a buddy at lvl30 do strongholds last night. In his map. I guess I did something on my end walking into Capitol Hill which triggered a “force start”. Finished it then did his last one which was District Union. Upon completion: “Fuck yea. End. Game. Son” “Oh shit. What the fuck.” “Goddamnit I played them out of order” Don’t play the strongholds out of order. Capitol Hill has to be last
Once I finally triggered it, I immediately had it fully upgraded, then once I left it was blockaded. All is well now, but idk why I had to glitch my way in for it to register.
Can’t believe how much this game has improved over the 1st The world is so immersive So much to do, collect, loot etc
Got to wt4 last night. Increased the alert level of a CP to 3, and went to take it over. Got through the initial clear out, but got flanked and wrecked by a yellow during the defense stage. Die, wall back to CP. While I was gone, it changed from contested to green. I didn't get credit for finishing a alert level 3 CP, didn't get my blueprint or the yellow chest. Cool. Cool cool cool.
I believe you can fast travel back by selecting the green fighting symbol of the people you called for backup. It can save you time to make it back before its cleared. If you knew this already, please ignore lol
I tried, didn't work. They all got destroyed during the initial fight so there wasn't a green icon. There was a group that spawned in when I got to the second phase of the capture but I couldn't fast travel to it
last night TrustyPatches and CUtigers spent approximately 3 hours trying to finish the challenging daily. i join up and we get it done in the first try. as a reward i got merciless. thanks guys
Thats an exotic right? Finished the main story last night. Level 28. Going to push up to 30 tonight. Did my first strong hold. Best thing to do is other strongholds then side missions once I hit 30?
Yeah and it has some really sweet talents. Odin have you tried it out? Do whatever strongholds you can, then side missions until you hit 30 and can do the last stronghold. Then you'll be able to do your specializations and world tier stuff, and the side stuff you have left will still be there. Really doesnt matter what order honestly. I will say that you don't want to spend forever in the lower world Tiers, because that stuff you get is useless outside of talents you get to recalibrate
nope. i thought pretty hard about dropping it for one of you two to have but also i love rifles and that will probably be my next build, so i kept it
We tried to 3-man one. We kept dying, as did the green dots, so it reset every time. Took us probably an hour and multiple wipes before we finally beat it. So many enemies, yellow rushers, flanked from both sides... woof.
