https://www.polygon.com/2020/12/10/22167489/the-expanse-season-6-canceled-or-season-7-beyond-plans Relax folks, we may get more. As we know Bezos likes this show, so I'm sure he'd be willing to do more seasons.
I gotta admit, I'm pretty sick of whatever is going on with "captive" Naomi Spoiler (feel dumb spoilering this but w/e) the telegraphing of Filip's redemption arc is pretty bleh too
yea, that wasn't a complaint. we still got plenty of action. I was kind of surprised nobody had been talking about it in here so I made the comment.
I mean once again we got a reminder why Amos is one of the best and most complex characters on the show. Guy who plays him does such a good job
Shit totally forgot about the episode. Between lockdown with the kids and the coup I finally have something to look forward to!
Spoiler ok, but what is Naomi doing? at first I thought the thing in her hand was a detonator and she was going to try to blow up the ship. Phillip saw her right? is he about to have another change of heart?
Spoiler Idk how to answer without spoilers for future plot points. She’s escaping The shot was adrenaline to keep her alive the extra few minutes.
Spoiler Different ship. That's the ship she gifted to Fillip that Marco is planning to use to lure in and destroy the Roci
Literally found myself fast forwarding through any naomi scenes until that last one. Just drawn out melodramatic af shit that bores me to tears.
Reddit says the thing in her hand was hyper oxygenated blood like they gave the reporter earlier in the season
I realize Naomi has good intentions but it's kind of fucked up to just show up and expect Filip to trust her when he has literally never seen her before lol
Why is the plot moving at a snail's pace? I don't think the acting is good enough to sustain no plot developments.
kind of where I'm at. Spoiler the marco performance is corny watching naomi be in total agony for minutes on end several times in one sitting is trash Amos' bmore slumlord pal's realization that his world is gone couldn't have been less moving or interesting the "how to respond to terrorism" cabinet scene felt super played out and unimaginative
The biggest change has been Drummer. There's 3 characters combined into her. Otherwise it's pretty damn close for the most part
I’m dumb as hell for not realizing Peaches was Julie’s sister. this show moves so fast (normally) that there must be so much I don’t even remember.
Most of all I hate the belter bullshit. The longer belter and Naomi chapters sucked in the book to. Should pick up steam quickly but last two episodes dragged ass.
I thought the Sanjrani/rebuilding food production/belter economy sections of the books were interesting. I agree about Naomi's endless well of emotion though. She's way more badass and composed in the books.
