That surefire weapon light for my G19, is that something I can install myself? Do I need any special tools?
Also preferred online retailer for lights, sights, etc.? Wouldn't mind saving a few bucks, but more concerned with getting the correct product, on time, in good condition, etc.?
Went with Midway as they had everything in stock I wanted... -Surefire X300u-b light -Surefire D-11 grip switch -Triji HD XR yellow sights -100rds ea/Federal HST 124gr and 147gr Then... -Raven concealment Vanguard 3 light compatible holster -Bravo Concealment IWB-DOS light bearing holster I'll post pics when it's dunzo.
I've posted my FNX 45 Tactical in this thread. Nothing better than 15+1 of subsonic suppressed .45. It's my absolute favorite sidearm to shoot and a favorite of our Seals. Also pretty sure the secret service use the P90X for close protection of el presidento.
Shot a full auto p90 and that is one bad gun. Would recommend trying it should you get the opportunity.
I'd say the SCAR is as expensive as it is because it's unique, built by only one company and they probably have a lot of R&D costs in it.
That's not actually being delivered UPS is it? I'd think it's more likely an LTL carrier bringing it.
Yeah its LTL lol. I didn't look at the dimensions and such in the links. T's and P's to that poor bastard.
They will go over 150 lbs depending on the shipment, they just charge an arm and a leg in bulky item charges. It's more about the dimensions than the weight. But yes a 500 lb safe is coming through an LTL or UPS freight at best.
Paying someone 80 bucks to get it where I want it. Could probably rope some people into helping me but fuck that
Thought I might post this here for anyone interested... Looking to upgrade the optic on my Mk13 - looking for an S&B PMII 5-25x56 scope in either Pantone or Black with mil/mil adjustments (will consider moa depending on reticle). NF scope is in excellent condition and will come with NF rings, bikini cover, and sun shade. Obviously, I will offer cash on my end with NF optic. More pictures upon request: EDIT: Cash Price is $2,000.00
Depending on reticle, just about. I just bought a Knight's PVS30 clip-on and would prefer an illuminated reticle on the day optic - the NF is excellent glass but doesn't have illumination.
I need help. Deciding between the S&W M&P compact and the Springfield XDS (both in .45). The XDS has a promotion going now for 4 mags and a holster with purchase. Both on sale for around $470. Pretty much can't make up my mind. I'd love to hear from anyone who owns one or both of these guns.
Had the xds in 45 and would not recommend because it is a bear to shoot at that caliber. Shot the shield and glock 43 side by side and chose the glock. Bought the glock for $449 at bass pro.
It is light and so compact that it is not very fun to shoot. Still accurate enough with it for personal defense, but you aren't excited taking it to the range for practice.
Handtrucked mine upstairs with a buddy helping. Easily one of the worst decisions I've made. When we move that fucker stays.
The M&P isn't compact at all, which can ultimately become a problem when it's not comfortable to carry. I have no issues shooting my 45 or 9 XDs, just put a pinky extension on it. Springfield will hold its value better than the M&P Compact. I have a M&P Compact 9 that I'm pretty sure I couldn't give away at this point. Just big and clunky by today's standards.
Springfield has the best factory sights in the game. The M&P is a good overall gun but the trigger is shit. All things equal, if you don't want to spend anything from jump, get the Springfield.
Go shoot them both. If you like the smith better, plan on swapping out the trigger. I don't own a Springfield, but pretty much everyone I know who has ended up selling it and buying something else. Take that for whatever it's worth (i.e. nothing). If you're looking strictly for carry, the single stack glock is hard to beat
I was planning on swapping out the trigger on the M&P regardless. Not sure on the S&W but after dry firing the latter has a better stock trigger imo. It sounds like it boils down to preference and neither gun is special so I guess I'll flip a coin.
