Surprised I didn’t post this. Dad, brother and I took out the carry arms to the range for some practice. Sig 9mm is mine, Bro has the Sig .380, and Dad’s is the .38 Special Spoiler
I’ve always liked that Sig with the Lave engraving. I own the 938 BRG and it’s probably my favorite gun.
Yep. Dad loves his too. I think it’s ridiculously difficult to conceal for what you get. I still pocket carry my DB9 every day. My favorite all time carrygun.
It’s tiny man. Don’t even notice it most of the time. Carry it often in just gym shorts with drawstring tied tight. I put in 5+1 9mm JHP and it’s everything I could ask for in a gun that size. Lightweight, small and accurate enough for close encounters.
Just pointing out that I know nothing of Diamondback guns, but I’ve seen my share of Aston Martin DB9 on the road.
anybody own or have any experience w/ CZ? Specifically the CZP-01. Looking for a new carry piece, trying to avoid striker fire.
I don't think so, Ive never had a problem with any other small pistols. Mine is a very early production one though so that may have something to do with it.
I’m thinking about picking up a new one. Will see if it’s as reliable. A lot of people compare it to the small kimber, small Kahr and small dog. I handled all but liked the diamondback the best. I assume the cm9 would be the most quality of the bunch.
Their early runs were absolute shit. Damn near went out of business until they tightened up their quality control.
I should count. I didn't make any ground yesterday buying the Sig because a few weeks ago I gave a friend a Colt 1911 for his birthday.
I almost ordered one in 10mm yesterday while picking up the Sig/Ace, I still can't get over the fact that it uses Glock mags. The recoil system is pretty unique.
Ordered a different 10mm instead. Not sure when it will be in stock at the manufacturer though, could be months.
Watched some videos on the vector, kinda cool. I’d love to shoot one, would not love to drop $1,700 on one though. Basically a pistol caliber carbine built around recoil management for minimal/negligible muzzle rise?
This is the Sig that failed the hammer test, correct? Love the idea of being able to swap calibers and pistol sizes. Don’t love the idea of shooting myself in the dick.
The Vector seems like a good home defense weapon. Can you buy the pistol and use it now and wait on the stamp for the stock?
He’s probably going to need to look at used guns, and even then it’ll be tough. Why’s he married to getting a .40 when that’s his budget?
Headed here Saturday: https://www.battlefieldvegas.com/ Looks overpriced (Vegas tax) but great assortment of firearms.
