Also, team shit range ammo bucket. The more rounds you can put through your firearm the more proficient you’ll be with it; don’t let cost limit you. You’ll start to develop an eye for your cost per round on practice and defense ammo, and snatch up deals when you see them (mostly online in bulk to get free shipping.)
hey man what happened to the morning crew ? why is billb and facts rule making each party a joke in the turnip thred gfa has going ? no more bacon ?
Develop a relationship with an FFA. Much easier to text my guy the exact gun I’m looking for, he texts back price, texts me when it’s in, I scoop it up whenever.
For guns no, bc my local shop, Adventure Outdoors in Atlanta, has more selection than a Bass Pro/Cabelas/Academy and overall better. For my fly fishing gear, fly tying material, etc., I support the local shop bc I'm getting a ton of advice and feedback for only a slightly a few bucks more. Huge FishHawk fan, but I do still like Orvis. Bass Pro won't spool new reels for you and I can get plenty of spinning bait, gear at Wal Mart.
Anyone here own or shoot a Sarsilmaz? Saw their SAR9 9mm in Shooting Illustrated. Been looking for an inexpensive 9 with an external safety that my daughter can shoot when we go to the range. Reviews online dont look too promising, just wondering if any of you guys have any experience with them.
Cool thing about glock being in Atlanta is that you can take your pistol into their facility here and get it refurbed/worked on. My 22 is a DNR re-issue so I should take advantage of this.
You need credit card points, go do it, and stop whining. Better yet, you have my AR wrench so go buy everything you need to build another AR!
Im kind of on a milsurp kick lately. If I get anything over the next year it’ll be a garand or some old service pistol (and probably more Seikos.)
They’re both pistol carbines, the scorpion is just better at being a carbine than a handgun crammed into a polymer LEGO box imo.
I admittedly know nothing about the Roni kits. Just looks like a silly Glock fanboy meme to me. No offense.
I like the drop in and I love the looks of Roni SBR. Something fun to fuck with in the field and can still have a. G17. I have all the firearms i need at this point, now I’m just buying what I think is cool.
Got the gun (new), the sights, and 30 days of range time for $620 after taxes, background, etc. I'm satisfied with the deal. Going to shoot some more on thursday.
Cleaned two of my Baers last night, one has 500 rounds and the new 38 has 400 rounds. Had to use the hammer to get them apart as well as back together. Christ, Les.
Not to my knowledge. I do a lot of work out in Carrollton though, so it’s not too far for me to shoot over to CMP whenever they get this new shipment of repatriated M1s.
One would think, I whored around a lot when I was 26 - 32. So much I completely burned myself out and I wouldn't be surprised if I never dated again.
https://www.airgundepot.com/airforce-texan-ss-hawke-scope-combo.html Something seems off. I don’t know much about air guns, but A) this seems pretty cool for a non-ear rupturing firearm, B) this doesn’t need to go through a FFL transaction, not sure how I feel about that, C) rounds would be just specially purchased 45 bullets, obviously no casing/powder?
No, the powder is what makes it a firearm which is the trigger for federal firearms laws which is why you don't have to go through an FFL transaction or why it's not regulated as a firearm at all.
Got that part, think I’m hung up on what kind of bullet would I need to buy and how is this an unregulated shooting apparatus? Certainly seems as lethal or more lethal than any 22LR handgun.
Are they not capable of firing multiple rounds without significant time delay while air pressure builds back up?
People that buy $1300 single shot airguns aren't going to kill someone with it. Ammo https://nielsenspecialtyammo.com/products/swaged-45-caliber-sized-452-to-457-265-grains
